BE AWARE RANDOMLY A 21+ ONLY VENUE. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY.
This “pizza shop” needs to be more clear when it’s 21+ or all ages, specifically which hours. Should be in every post and clearly stated on the business profile, please. It was extremely frustrating to travel in hours from out of town for a show tonight with our baby and then be turned away when Nothing was listed about age restrictions ahead of time. I will change this review’s star rating if this is fixed by making it super clear on this google business listing, social media, and website which hours it is and is not family friendly. Thank you.

Still coming down from the panic attack. Tried to come here with my partners for a show Friday Feb 27 that we were really really excited for, but had to leave after four songs because a man was harassing not just us, threatening to pour beer on our heads and yelling in our faces, but others as well, including going into the women’s restroom and shouting “ill be back!!” when the women kicked him out. We told not just the woman in tickets, but also their “security” dave, who instead of doing ANYTHING about the man forcing people to reach into his “bag of mystery” only to touch his greasy geekbar, went to the back both times we found him to… chat up drunk women. If you wanna get away with rape or harassment, this would be the place to do it! Even their security is a creepy old man! Seriously disgusted by the poor way this venue is run. It is NOT safe. If someone that overtly problematic doesnt get kicked out I doubt theyd take other complaints any more seriously, and the lack of communication is genuinely terrifying. We called after we left to see if they took care of that guy, and the phone rings and rings until it prompts for a RAC… so im not sure its even a real number. Never coming back to whirled pies again.

When the kids always say yes to a restaurant that has no playground, and then they eat for over an hour, it’s a win. I love it when my epicurean-challenged son says “I want a hamburger!” – at a pizza joint… and then he relishes it bite by bite. Thanks for your wonderful spirit, Whirled Pies!

World peace may not be obtainable but you can buy whirled pies! Celebrated my birthday here with a Stromboli and a calzone. It was nice to have these alternative pizza like items to try. Both were good but my favorite was the Stromboli. They have a good selection of drinks as well.

Wonderful venue for shows supporting local bands. Quality artisan style pizza calzones and other brew lun fare. There is a full bar with a complement of quality regional beers, cider, and wines

Excellent service, a good selection of beers and ciders and just a cool pizza joint. I had the Charnelton which was covered in toppings all the way to the edge. The crust is hand tossed and was not chewy.

Weeeeeeeee n… fun vibes, long lines, good times
They get swamped during the shows, but the pizza is yummy. Fair trade off

Delicious! Small selection by the slice, more full pizzas, respectable choices for beers, served under a large vaulted ceiling with beautiful murals adorning the walls. There’s also a stage for everything from science lectures to comedy. The “sound guy” is spot-on. I actually haven’t seen music there, but presumably they have it occasionally.

Really cool place for events. I would love to come back when it’s less busy. There was a watch party for the VP debate and I had to wait for my slices for a while. The staff was super nice and patient and got the pies out to the people!
I really enjoyed the pepperoni slice and although I dont usually select that type of pizza, I enjoyed Whirled pie’s version as the pepperoni meat tasted homemade and had a little kick of flavor. I am also glad that there was a generous portion of the pepperoni. I also had a slice of the pesto and it had a thinner crust. I had an enjoyable time!
