As I told they lady behind the counter, this was the best dinner I never knew I wanted! We were sitting on a bench across St. George road trying to decide on something for dinner, and everything sounded too heavy. I spotted this place and we went in and placed our orders. Everything came very quickly, service was excellent, and the waffles were amazing (and I’m not really a waffle guy). I got the peach bourbon cobbler and my wife got the strawberry shortcake. Very fresh and good (and very hot) coffee too. Highly recommend.

Excellent! Tried the gluten free & vegan strawberry shortcake waffles, and they were amazing! I did not have a gluten reaction after eating here, yay! Service was friendly and quick, staff seemed very careful about stating the waffles were gluten free and vegan when delivering, which is always comforting. Cold brew was also good. Cool ambiance, inside but open-air, top-notch people watching.

As someone with celiac, I found so much comfort in being able to eat here on vacation! We are so limited due to risk of cross contact, but when I went in and advised of being celiac, the staff was so amazing and so informed. They have a whole separate set up just for gluten free that they showed me and talked me thru all the precautions they take to ensure a safe preparation! They even have other accommodation like GF chicken and GF Mac and cheese so you can enjoy almost all of their options. We ended up eating here twice over a 4 day time frame just because I felt safe eating there! The GF waffle was outstanding! The location is prime, especially if you are within walking distance of St George Street! As someone who is very sensitive to even the smallest exposure..I had zero issues or reaction. Would 10/10 recommend!!

My server was so kind and helpful. Erica made me feel welcomed and like I was amoung friends she even offered a military discount without me asking as she thanked me for my service. She explained the building we were in is 100 years old, which prompted me to notice the joists and dovetail joints.

You can smell Whips Waffle Company from the street, and it pulls you right in! We came on Labor Day weekend, super busy, but still had the best service. We tried so much: the classic (our favorite!), strawberry shortcake (also so so good), bourbon peach cobbler, chicken & waffles (delicious), avocado toast with hash browns and eggs, and the most flavorful egg bites (another top favorite!). Every single one we got with gluten-free waffles and they were SO good. Everything was so delicious we came back the very next day!

Lovely restaurant. Cozy atmosphere and decor. Tried the gluten free classic waffle and frozen butter brew. Thoroughly enjoyed both! The gluten free waffle was loaded with toppings and stayed perfectly crispy.

AMAZING food! They have gluten free options that tastes like it was made with love. There are not many GF options here, especially options that taste so good. The employees spend time answering questions and give genuine answers. Bonus of free music played by the grinch! + 10000 aura! The worst thing I can think of is having to decide on all the options.

Please don’t miss this one! The wonderful smell drew us in, and as soon as I read gluten free on the menu, I was sure about our choice. They were so kind to us as we were newbies trying to decide what we’d like. I had the coconut cream pie gluten free waffle, and it was so amazing that I came back the next day for a repeat before we left town. Can’t wait to visit again next trip. Highly recommend! Ps, loved the chill and cozy atmosphere!
