I went opening day with high expectations. I was a little disappointed with the prices but when I saw the size of bowl they were filling I figured I’d would be worth it. It was just twist in a cup. When I received it the ice cream didn’t touch the sides and when I took my first spoon full the center was hollow. Overall I figured the cup was only half full.

We went two days after their opening – the service was fast and speedy. Overall, the food was good. Tenderloin and fried pickles were great. Walking taco and brownie tsunami were nostalgic. Fried mushrooms were not good. Overall, recommend and happy they’re back!

I am a huge ice cream fan and Whippy Dip did not disappoint. I tried the walking taco and the banana cream pie ice cream. Both choices were delicious and the portions were generous. The food took a little bit longer to make than expected, be we were glad to know that the fries were always fresh. Loved the hometown feel and definitely will be returning.

Heard great things about the Whippy dip from friends and got the family pumped up to go but was a little let down on their serving size for a $4 bowl of soft serve they didn’t really fill up the bowl. For this i give them 3 stars out of 5.

The place is nice and quiet and the service is amazing. There may not be much staff sometimes, but even if they have 1 person it still remains in good business. I always recommend this place if you want good ice cream for a great price.

2 4-person takes inside, 2-3 tables outside that sit 6-8 people comfortably.
We were there during a very busy day, so service was a bit slow; but they were very friendly and the wait between ordering and receiving wasn’t long at all.

Lovely little place in Monroeville in. Stopped for ice cream which was delicious and also saw they have a very nice menu of food items as well. Service was very friendly and quick. Definitely would recommend.

Walked in after driving 3 hours to get my 2lb dog a pup cup and my wife something. Immediately was told not to come in at the door and was treated rudely and not to mention she said no dogs. So I said fine, no business then. Being rude to customers is a no go for me, I can understand rules but the rudeness she had in her tone was the definitive deciding factor. Also the establishment was completely empty…hopefully it stays that way.
