I just visited the area and ate there 3 times in 3 days. The Ponaluna Dogs are AMAZING. I had 6 total in those 3 days. I loved the cherry sundae. Pineapple sundae too. The Superman ice cream is The Best. Oh I even had a cherry slushy too. Great time. Hope to travel through the area again some day and yes I will stop.

We come to this place when we are camping in Hoffmaster State Park. Kids love it and so do we. We really like their sandwiches (Cuban sandwich) and mush room & Swiss burgers. Kids always get ice creams. Staff is really nice. The highlight of this place is a backyard with playground picking tables, hammocks. Good option for families. There is always many people. The place feels to me a little like old school America (I’m a foreigner).

We look forward to going here every year. This place has great malts, ice cream, and food. Tonight we got malts, soft serve, and dinner. Sloppy joes weren’t great , but the tater tots were really good. The jalapeno bites weren’t great, but the mac n cheese bites were super tasty. We also got nugs and Mac and cheese which were both pretty good. It’s a town treasure for sure!!!

What a great place! Lots of options for hard or soft ice cream, sundaes, shakes and hot fried food. We got mint choc chip with toasted almond on top and some funnel fries. All of this was under $10 and wonderful! We both agreed to come here again, great ice cream and great service from staff. The funnel fries tasted good but were a little heavy on the grease for me. Some more powdered sugar also. Still A+

Nice ice cream place! And they also have hotdogs! And more! A lot of seating area, also they have a kids playground with a swing ! Definitely recommend! This place. I’ve had butter pecan ice cream, and a hotdog )

Was on a Tuesday afternoon between 2:30 and 3:00 It was not busy and the gal serving us answered our questions in a friendly manner, Will absolutely come again. We had the hard ice cream and it was delicious and we will probably come back for lunch another day because the food menu looks very enticing and the prices don’t look unreasonable for the lunch either.

We were in line a long time, and when we got to the front, I knew why, the gal taking our order was hand writing our order one by one and then making the items, one by one, then moving to the next customer. It was a lengthy time. Maybe not the best process. Most ice cream places, have someone taking orders and someone making ice cream. Makes it go smoother. I got a sundae and subbed cherry chocolate ice cream for the soft serve vanilla. I also added sprinkles. It was good, just wish it was faster. Also, I wanted a brownie sundae but they didn’t have brownies, so that was a bummer. They had a playground but it was too dark for our kids to play, and it took too long in line to want to have them play.

One star for the cheerful staff. Another for the playground. Third for the location. I’m being generous. People go there for the food, right? Second hot dog’s bun WAS MOLDY! Yuck. Didn’t know about the first because my grandson was already eating it. Not happy. Just made my day even more stressful and this was supposed to be our fun day together.
