Recently stopped by for a takeout order at Wheelz. Their website for order ahead was very straight forward. One con though. If you want to do a half topping there is no option. So, you pay full price for half. Their three cheese pizza is pretty good. The pepperoni had a nice kick and crunch to it. The white pizza was the real winner. If I were to return I would get a full size and probably make it two. The ricotta and greens on it added such a smooth and creamy flavoring. There is a small parking lot but it was not overly crowded. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes. They send you text alerts when they start the order and once it’s ready.

Tried wheelz out because it had such a good rating. We ordered 3 different individual sized pizzas, margherita, buffalo chicken, and Hawaiian minus the ham. Pizza was really good, I only wish my buffalo had more of a kick. The staff was very friendly. It is not a place you go in to dine in, or sit. It was very clean and I noticed a 100% sanitation score which was impressive.

This place had a lot of hype when it opened in Charlotte and I’m not sure it lived up to that for me.
My husband and I shared:
– Pepperoni Pizza
– Soppressata, Roasted Red Peppers, Hot Honey Pizza
On the positive side, I loved the crust. They use a sourdough crust and it’s incredibly delicious. It was the highlight of the pizza for me. They also use my favorite kind of pepperoni (the little cups).
The thing I didn’t like about these pizzas is that there is basically no sauce. There is a small swirl of sauce on top and that’s it. This made it more of a flatbread than a pizza to me which wasn’t what I was looking for.
If you enjoy pizza without much (or any) sauce, then this is the spot for you.

God damn. This pizza was far by the best I’ve had in Charlotte. I was just trying to find some food and this place had good reviews so I went, never expected to come out with one of the best pizzas I’ve tried. I’m originally from the Jersey/NY area and this is better than most pizza there. I got the supreme with Pineapple,Jalapeño, Tomato, and Basil.
The crust was fantastic too, even after waiting 30 minutes to eat it. 10/10 would make the 40 minute drive for this

I work right down the street from this location and the manager joy and her team are a pleasure..the food is always made right and delivery never takes long..
