We came here during a relatively busy time, but what stood out immediately was the complete mismatch between staff and service. There appeared to be plenty of food runners on the floor, yet only one waitress handling the entire restaurant. Because of that, service was painfully slow—something I can understand given the situation, but it set the tone.
The real issue was the food.
I ordered a medium filet and my guest ordered a medium burger. What arrived was unacceptable. The filet was charred on the outside and completely gray inside. Not even close and after well over an hour waiting for food I gave up.
To their credit, they removed the steak from the bill when I sent it back, but at that point I had zero confidence in the kitchen and declined a remake.
For the prices and the expectations this place sets, the execution is shockingly poor. Save your time and money—you’ll honestly have better luck at the Taco Bell down the street.

Consistently good food and drinks! Great happy hour specials on weekdays. The Black Jack Chicken, Rivers Club and Wedding Soup are a few of my favorite menu items.

Came here for a quick snack, there was one order of a burger, and I got a bowl of Italian Wedding Soup before we gambled for a bit. All the servers we talked to were very friendly, and my soup was the perfect light snack to hold me over before dinner.

The wait time wasn’t long and the hostess was very accommodating.
It took over 15 minutes before my waitress came to my table to even introduce herself yet she was pleasant.
The food was delicious. I had the portobello mushroom cheese steak and I ate it all. It was definitely cooked to perfection.
The banana split cheesecake was AMAZING!

Nothing to write home about. Customer service did not exist the day I dined at the Wheelhouse. Waited to be seated for over 19 minutes with 10-20 percent of the restaurant full. There was no sign that asked me to “please wait to be seated” so I eventually went to the bar to ask if I just seat myself and I was told to wait for someone. Dishes were not cleared as the mean went on so empty and dirty soup bowls and appetizer plates cluttered the table. They have a very limited drink menu and a pretty small food menu. With a small menu, everything should be done impeccable well. It was just okay and the food felt like something I could get at Denny’s. I ordered a hamburger and the bun was not toasted.The portion sizes are large and we’ll platted. I did enjoy the pickle on the side and the view was pretty nice. While everything was clean, it reeked of cigarettes.Not impacting this review at all, and just a FYI, the casino is very small. I will return, to take advantage of the free parking and take a nice walk down the river, over the bridge, and have a picnic in the park

I only eat fish, so I am extremely picky and vocal about the good, the bad and the ugly.
This place, never let’s me down and I’d pick it over everywhere here.
It isn’t over or under done & has that grilled taste. I always get the Asian Glazed with greenbeans and the beer battered onion rings.
Don’t be put off that it’s in a loud casino. It’s delicious and WORTH the money.
Tracie was our server today & I hope we get her next time. Clearly loves her job.

Got there at 7pm. Said 20 minutes to be seated. Got seated 7:30. Ordered food. Got that at 8:15 Ask for plates never got. Fries were cold. In general service just sucks. But when looking at other tables everyone else was having same problem.

Wheelhouse is a lifesaver. If you are in town and want a good meal after 9pm. Come to wheelhouse, because most restaurants close at 9-10pm even on weekend.
Dinning area is huge. TVs on all the walls. Full menu of burger, sandwich, pasta and steak. $24.61 for a big bowl of chicken pasta with a salad is not bad in 2024. Taste better than some of the so call homemade Italian restaurant I been to. Pasta is just right, al dente.
