If your ever passing through Standish. Be sure to stop in Wheeler’s Restaurant for a Bite to eat. Wheeler’s have an Amazing Food! Everything is made fresh. They also have a Soup n Salad Bar I love the most. Especially when I just want to eat something right away.
Overall, Wheeler’s Restaurant is the place for fresh, homemade meals (Beverages are served here as well).

On our way up north, this was a great spot to stop for lunch!! Easy on and off the freeway, although you have to drive a little but from the freeway. The pancakes were huge and amazing! And they have Cops & Doughnuts!! Atmosphere was also welcoming and nice. Will be back!

This restaurant is a joy to eat at. Onion rings and Philly Sandwich with generous cup of au jus sauce is top notch. Look foreword to stopping in again. Service happy and quick. I’ve been going to Wheeler’s for over 30 years and always loved it. Things have changed for the worst. We were told to sit at an unlearned table, never offered coffee refills and food was terrible. Everything tasted like it came out of a box. Fake syrup,fake butter,terrible biscuits and gravy. Super disappointed, definitely not a change for the better

What a great experience. I’ve driven by this restaurant for most of my life and never stopped. Tonight I stopped and I walked in to one of the most quaint restaurants in Standish Michigan. I felt like I was walking back to the time of a diner. I was immediately greeted and told I could sit anywhere. I I chose a table and sat down within seconds by a waitress arrived, Anique. What a fantastic waitress. Polite kind attentive efficient I could go on and on. She recommended the pork chops out of two meals that I had pointed out that I was trying to decide. So I went with her recommendation on the pork chops. Wow those pork chops were probably one of the best meals I’ve had in quite a while. Pork chops were perfectly cooked juicy on the inside a slight crusty golden brown on the outside. And I honestly will say they were large. I also had a large loaded baked potato and cottage cheese, my choices. The meal was delicious and enjoyable. The cook brought the pork chops meal to me and asked if I would cut into the pork chops to see if they were good, I did and they were perfectly cooked. I am definitely going back to this restaurant to try other foods that they have on the menu. I took pictures and have included them with my posting. The only thing I didn’t see was it handicap entrance.. The restaurant was clean orderly well taken care of and well decorated. This is a little gem hidden away in this small town USA. You’re missing out if you haven’t stopped here. I learned my lesson I need to stop at these little out of the way restaurants more often. I also got an order of many tacos to go and they were just right on taste when I got home.
