We passed by the specials sign and saw the Maple Bourbon Russian, seemed like a must try and it was was great! The server suggested the short rib sandwich, very tender and delicious, not sure if needed the egg, but very good. We tried the gluten free pizza crust with pepperoni, it was interesting. Great atmosphere and enjoyed the patio seating, service was good!

Perfect experience from the service to the food to the atmosphere! Lovely and elegant in the dining room, and it looked like a fun, happening happy hour crowd at the bar.

Good service. Don’t be too lured into the specials. Half price appetizers are very fried. Also tip is already included. It would have been nice to be told this.

Hi Gluten Free friends, Wheatfields offers a GF menu! I was attracted to the pesto pasta. The only GF pasta offered is penne, which was cooked a bit more dente than I prefer, but the pesto was so good I snarfed the entire dish! A fellow celiac ordered their mac&cheese. She reports it as wonderful and worth the lactose med.
Steve makes a dirty martini (if you are into such things) that is perfection. When back in the area, I will insist on a return visit.

Staying in town for the night on our way home from Maine. Stayed in a hotel not far away and enjoyed the walk in.
Staff are friendly and service is good.
Nice varied menu with nice cocktail and wine list.
We were drawn in by the mention of house made pasta. There we weren’t disappointed.
Started with the whipped ricotta starter which was interesting. Maybe could have a few more toast points but otherwise good.
I had the Broadway Bolo which featured Tagliatelle. Good sauce, with a more than ample portion.
We enjoyed a good pinot noir with the meal and of course, the Saratoga Springs sparkling water is a must.
Overall a good experience.

Was in town for a tournament and decided to stop for lunch. Saw chicken riggi on the menus and was sold to go hear. So this was last Sunday at around 3 pm. The restaurant was quiet and three lovely hostesses greeted us and info is they in the middle of a shift change and we’re going to be seated in the bar area. Ok didn’t mater to me. The hostess seated us and recommend getting the fries and to try them dipped in the oil for the bread. It was a great tip as they were amazing. So our first server not as enthusiastic as the hostess showed up and we ordered drinks and the fries and our entrees. The drinks and fries came out pretty quickly. A good amount of time went by and no food. We ordered a burger, 2 chicken wraps and my riggi’s. So the bartender comes over and he was very upbeat and pleasant and says he will be waiting on us and noticed we were there for a good amount of time and he was going to check on food and offered to get us bread. His service was great. Shortly afterwards the food came out and I am pretty sure it was a manager that brought it to the table. The bread was ice cold inside and my wife’s chicken wrap had no chicken on either half. So we mention it to the manager like guy and he apologizes and get a new one pretty quickly. So the burger cooked correctly and kid reported it was great and fries were nice and crispy. The chicken Caesar wrap looked great and reported it was good. My wife with the bruschetta chicken wrap said it was good. So both wraps came with pasta sales and if the pasta was no way overcooked would have been good. Look at the pictures it’s falling apart and was mushy. So my Riggi’s. I know I wasn’t in Utica or the 315. So I was expecting the best but the pictures other reviewers post looked good. So I am not a stickler on the pasta type but I prefer it Al dente not mushy. Other than that it was a decent dish. Would I go back, no. It’s odd to me on have they didn’t seem prepared to serve food but had three hostesses on.

I called last minute for a reservation for 25 people and Wheatfields was able to accommodate us. The table was set and beautiful! The service was excellent! Food and drinks were delicious! The ribeye special was out of this world good! We had 10 kids with us and this restaurant was so patient and kind. Thank you so much for memorable dinner!

Stopped in on a road trip. Really good sangria and excellent calamari. Nice crunch but not overcooked with just a drizzle of spicy sauce.
Update:a year later and had to stop again on another road trip. Sweet and sour calamari is perfect. Great service, good drinks reasonable prices.

First off, if you’re in season, try the award-winning corn chowder. Secondly, happy hour here is amazing. Aside from the generous Happy Hour drink policy (1/2 all drinks!), they have a great HH food menu, and even put a block of tasty cheese out for patrons. Lastly, but definitely not leastly, the staff were super friendly. Talk to Steve at the bar – great storyteller.
