Lisa and the team at WhatchamaCAKES did a wonderful job with the desserts for our wedding! We requested a simple 1-tier 6in. cake in Confetti flavor with Buttercream frosting. It was phenomenal! I have definitely had special cake that is super dry and unflavored, but this one was perfect! The team delivered all of the desserts to our venue on time and put them on display so beautifully! So many of our guests complimented the cupcakes, cake bites, and chocolate chip cookies. We doubled our order and didn’t have many leftover. The few vanilla cake bites we DID have leftover accidentally and unfortunately got snacked on by our dogs while we weren’t looking LOL (they’re okay).

This place is such a lovely little neighborhood coffee and cake shop. The coffee was just as incredible as the customer service. Everything here was great! I ordered a cake cup and a raspberry frappuccino and it blew me away with the intense flavor. Overall I loved this place and everything in it. Thank you so much!

The atmosphere is eclectic and fun. The lunch menu is limited, but with delicious daily specials and great soups. The cakes are handmade works of art, but delicious at the same time! The cookies are equally amazing. But what makes this little bakery awesome is Lisa, the owner. It’s obvious that she loves her staff, customers and her small town community. It’s exactly the kind of business we love to support, whether stopping in for a snack and a cup of coffee, or having dessert catered for a gathering. Truly a bright light on Main Street in our town!

We hired Lisa to make cookies and a cake for our wedding. She delivered everything with plenty of time to spare, which was really wonderful. The cookies were beautifully done and delicious. The cake was so beautifully decorated, exactly as we had asked, but unfortunately, both flavors (each tier was a different flavor) were less than appetizing, and one of the flavors was literally inedible. I don’t know about you, but when I get a wedding cake, I want everything about it to be great. What’s odd is that we tasted cupcakes in each flavor, and they were good. We told her about our experience, and she apologized, but did nothing to try and make it right. This was by far the worst wedding cake I’ve ever tasted. Will at least make for good stories in the future. Not sure I would patronize this business again…something about one bad apple.

Absolutely delightful experience at Whatchama CAKES in Kendallview, Indiana! I had the best dirty chai I’ve had in years—perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. Their everything bagel with cream cheese was also fantastic, fresh, and full of flavor. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made my visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by for a treat!
