Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Finally found a Whataburger on the Vegas strip and went for lunch. The place was crowded. You place your order at a kiosk and pay there as well. Then an employee yells (and I mean yells) through the whole place your name when your order is ready. The burgers were huge, I’ll give them that. But thats about it. They were cooked but not hot. he cheese wasnt even melted on them. They come with lettuce, pickles, tomato, and onions. Tasted similar to a Mac Donald’s burger in my opinion. The fries were good (also similar to McDonald’s). They were hot, Crispy outside and soft inside. The fountain soda had a strange mix and didn’t taste right at all. I tried it once. I wont be trying it again.

The young lady that helped me “PEREZ” let me tell you. Great service. Helped me with my order. Didn’t rush me. Read back my order to make sure I got everything I wanted. Thank you Perez. She also recommended the Prickly pearl drink. Delicious.

Whataburger in Vegas. Food was consistent with the one in Laredo.
Aroma ,taste and good. Price wise a little more but compare to most hamburger joints price is average for Vegas.

**This review is for the Las Vegas Strip location only**
As Naitive Texan and an avid life long whataburger lover, I was disappointed. They took our beloved whataburger and “Stripified” it, to me it felt like a bastardization of what we have all come to expect from the orange and white W.
1. It was hard to get to
2. It had a BAR!
3. It shared a space with some no name pizza joint.
4. It’s not open 24hrs.
5. It was supper loud inside due to lots of TVs and blaring music
6. They don’t serve large drinks, only sm & med, and the price you pay for that medium is alittle more than double the cost of a large anywhere else.
7. They didn’t scan/accept whataburger rewards. If you wanted credit for your purchase then you had to add it in yourself.
Pretty much the only part that I found memorable was the life size whataburger cup out front, and yes a picture was taken with it
Whataburger is Whataburger, it stands alone amongst giants and that’s what make it great.
If other places can’t see that and enjoy it for what it is then they don’t deserve it

Terrible experience. I came to Water Burger in Las Vegas to order a simple burger and it was a complete mess. I clearly asked to remove the tomato and the pickles, which is a very basic request. When the burger arrived, not only was it wrong, but it came WITHOUT CHEESE.
What makes it even worse is that there is no clear option to choose a burger with cheese when ordering, which is ridiculous for a burger place. A burger without cheese should not be the default, and it’s unacceptable to find that out only after opening the food.
Very poor organization, no attention to customer requests, and a confusing menu. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend and definitely won’t be back.

Coming from South Texas, we were naturally curious about our home state staple in Las Vegas. Its combined with another restaurant and its the most surprisingly NOT open 24 hours. As the restaurant that is 24 hours, its fascinating that it closes at 2am in the city that never sleeps. They replaced table tents with light buzzers and the music is jarring loud which is on par with the rest of the strip. The Whataburger did taste the time, the menu appeared the same, minus the ability to buy alcoholic drinks. This was actually our first stop in Vegas.

Lane (Lanye without a name badge) was very rude and disrespectful while providing service. So basically we were trying to get our change together due to use placing multiple orders on one ticket and he snaps saying I’m let y’all handle that, which was rude.We had a larger bill after but he said we can’t take a larger bill and he pointed at the window. We collect all the fund from each individual and counted in front of him our money at a smaller amount then he said I gotta double check and he takes our money after and he counted the cash himself. Which wouldn’t be an issue but his mannerisms and how he responded was not professional and very disrespectful. After the issue at hand, another employee came to the window and spoke out of common courtesy, which the conversation end in him telling us he loves us and be careful. Mind you it’s 3 personalized orders and he made sure to follow up with great customer service.

This was my first Whataburger experience, and Evan (the manager) was amazing! He let us sample the yummy fried dough desserts and was so kind! Honestly he made our whole Vegas trip better, and the food was wonderful!

Being in Southern California, I very seldom get to eat Whataburger. So every time I go to Vegas, I look so forward to it. I usually stay at the aria or cosmopolitan so this Whataburger is an easy walk from both of those places. The atmosphere is super cool there’s a bar and a Whataburger in the same area. I’ve never had a problem finding seating and it’s always super clean inside. The staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing!
