Social Profile:

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

So glad Clovis finally has a whataburger! Went inside because everyone else is just as happy as I am to have one.
Jefferson was friendly and quick taking our order.
The prickly pear raspberry lemonade is delicious, sweet and tart!
Burger and fries were exactly like every Whataburger experience

I swear nothing is good in this town!!! How do I take one bite into my chicken biscuit sandwich, with extra stuff I add and have to pay for!! There’s a hair in my food!! ONE BITE ARE YOU SERIOUS??!!! I can’t make this up. Every place becomes Clovinized, to the point I spend good money on this!! My hard earned money on this! To where I don’t even want the rest of my meal!! Can’t make this up!! You can literally see the hair in at the top of the pape!!

Best visit in this store. Everything was right, fresh and hot. Arlene was just the sweetest and most kind woman and made sure my order was right. I’ve never gotten this kind of service at this location. Special thanks to Arlene, Thank you. I appreciate it.

Was so excited we were getting a Whataburger and I’m so sad that it has not met my expectations.Takes too long to get thru drive thru. Whataburger fries are the best, but not when they are cold. Employees don’t listen well and orders are not always correct. Onions are usually too plentiful and too hot. Hope this gets fixed soon.

this place definitely has its growing pains. the food is great, of course, but the service leaves something to be desired. maybe their employees need more training, maybe they just don’t care enough, it’s not really clear. but somehow they always manage to miss something in my order, be it wrong drink size, missing item(s), or missing sauce(s). I always try again because I love the food, but at this point I’m giving them money for free because they always without fail give me a smaller size than I ordered or leave an item out entirely, sometimes more than one. this happens with doordashes, drive thru mobile orders, even ordering in person. they also never mention when they’re out of certain items, so I either get something random with no explanation whatsoever, or just nothing at all. and God forbid you try telling them they missed something in your order, they’ll look you straight in the eye, say “it’s in the bag”, and shut the window in your face until you wait them out or just give up. I work in fast food, I get it, and I’m definitely more patient about these things than the average customer, but it’s honestly just absurd. you don’t just hand out an order that’s missing an item without asking what they’d like to replace it with, or at least mentioning that something is missing in case they want a refund. this place offers neither alternative, like they’re just hoping you won’t notice or care enough to make a complaint.

The hamburger patties were skinny so you pretty much have to buy a double to equal a normal single.
But the breakfast is good. The portions is my only complaint.

When they first opened we paid extra for the cups that were supposed to get us free refills every time we eat whataburger. These cups were a scam whataburger ran on Clovis as a whole. The first time we went back with our cups, they said “I don’t know who told everyone that but no, we charge for them and no free refills”. UH, the employees at whataburger told us that.. drrr. They straight up lied to people to sell the cups when they opened then refused to honor the deal that came with them later. The refills were the only reason I bought them. So they made everyone in town believe they’d get free refills for buying these cups, then took it back later. Not a business worth supporting and I will NEVER spend my money here again. I’d rather eat at McDonalds, because at least McDonalds didn’t run a literal scam on me. It’s disgusting places like this get away with scamming, and later there is nothing you can do about it and they smile in your face while ripping you off. Gross, lying business.

MJ was very nice and helpful. She was certainly up beat and so sweet. She helped me with the app to get my meal. Lemar was very nice and helped us get tea when it was empty. Food was wonderful. Wings needed just a little more sauce

What a great team of employees this place seemed to have! They were super busy, grumpy lady at the counter making demands, line of cars wrapped around the building, a line of people inside. They were under pressure BUT they worked well enough together that everything flowed almost seamlessly, they communicated with each other to make it all work. AND THEY WERE ALL SMILES AND LAUGHING!! They didn’t crack under pressure, they didn’t snap back at the rude lady. They delivered like I’ve not experienced in fast food before. Someone is always mad. Not here. Good job guys!
