Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had an absolutely awful experience at this location. I ordered a burger with no tomato, but what I actually received was much worse: I took two bites before realizing there was no meat in the burger at all.
When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they were neither helpful nor respectful. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, the employees literally laughed at the situation. No one took responsibility or offered a sincere apology.
I asked them to remake the burger correctly. When the second burger arrived, it had tomatoes on it—the one thing I specifically asked to exclude. I went back up to the counter a third time, and instead of actually remaking the order, they simply plucked the tomatoes off and handed me back a smashed, nasty burger.
Incredibly disappointed with the service and the quality. Rude staff and zero accountability.

We were on a long road trip at an invitational and called in an order for our hungry wrestling students. Our students were greatly appreciative of the fast service. Despite the high volume, your team handled our orders with impressive speed and efficiency, Wow! More importantly, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome rather than like a burden.
The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The team working understood my circumstances and took my call in order. Please commend the team working that night for their dedication to great customer service.

This location used to awesome but lately it seems like they are completely understaffed all the time. It shouldn’t take me waiting in the drive through line for a hour to get my food. Also lately if I choose to go in to dine it seems like the workers would rather hide or ignore those waiting at the counter to place an order. This place really needs corporate to look into what is going on there and make changes to get it back to the great place it used to be.

Great Customer service (Matteo) kindly and great service. Restaurant was clean and the food was extremely good, 10 times alot better than McDonald’s, Burger King, And LotsBurger. And can serve lunch during breakfast hours. Thank you For your service

The woman taking our order got it wrong and had a bad attitude while doing it. When we received our food, the order was completely opposite of what we asked for. Very frustrating experience, and customer service definitely needs improvement.

I waited 40 mins for them to slop my burger together. One patty was in California while the other stopped off in Texas lol and the sauce… While I appreciate they didn’t skimp on the sauce it would’ve been nice to have it ON THE BURGER instead of the paper and the buns

but I went today around 1pm for my own order. But these kids… I swear to gawd these kids just wanna be a body. Making $15 an hour, already there, just finish the job… I make $2 an order and have to drive across town and I don’t make a mess or take as long as y’all do. But hey, while the boss is away the workers will do whatever the hell they want

Double check your order before leaving! Ordered a #1 with no onions and pickles, repeated my order twice to the drive thru cashier. Sticker and receipt is absolutely wrong. Recieved my order and discovered my burger had onions and lettuce only so I literally had to scrap off the onions and lettuce because I work 15ish mins away and I don’t have time to go back and waste my lunch minutes. Also didnt recieve a straw for my drink and the Dr. Pepper is absolute watered down.

My son stopped by this Whataburger and no one was in the line and it took them 10 minutes to even answer the speaker at the drive thru. Then he waited 25 minutes at the window for his food. The person at the window was extremely rude even rolling her eyes when he asked for the order to be read back. He got the order and came home when we found out the chicken tender meal he ordered did not come with fries or the toast. The Dr. Pepper tasted like there was chlorine in it. I called and spoke to a manager Annalise and she said I could get a refund if I went all the way back. When did their customer service get so bad. I know the stores in Texas are always great. The NM district manager needs to step it up.
