Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We decided to go for a spicy chicken sandwich at an unusual hour, which felt a little unexpected, but it was absolutely worth it. The wait was slightly longer than normal, yet it made perfect sense since everything was prepared fresh. When the food arrived, it was hot, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.

Was looking for somewhere open at 4am to sit down and enjoy breakfast & a coffee and found the lobby open here (post-COVID, that’s a bit uncommon). A fresh pot of coffee was made for me, my order was ready in a few minutes, and Roy was very kind and helpful. Will be returning for more early morning rituals.

I give the lowest stars For this location Cottonwood in Albuquerque I couldn’t Tell you how the food is??? Over 10 minutes to be helped at the drive-through PA system
And over 15 minutes to get your food if you do get a chance to order
This has been the service at this place for over four or five years may be longer
This will be the last time I ever tried to eat here and definitely will give my review to my sister who is a huge influencer on Instagram and Facebook It’s not only ridiculous that these kids working there do not Care about their job, but that Whataburger will hire these type of workers

Young man was running all over the place trying to keep up with call in orders, drive up and at the counter ordering inside — he always maintained a smile, was courteous, friendly, efficient.
He got the order correct!!

The food was tasty, delicious and hit the spot for every family member, from the fresh burgers, fries, onion rings , chocolate shakes (double yum), and sodas made for a great rainy night meal.
There was only one couple and a gentleman dining as we waited for our order to go. Most orders were drive through and orders for pickup.
So it was nice and quiet.
The price was reasonable for great tasting food; they did the work we did the eating. Wish I could recall the young man’s name. I think it was Alex or Albert, large gent, awfully nice. Made our food ordering easy and quick, he read back the entire order to make sure it was right!

Welcoming environment. I love to see teamwork, clean stocked condiments area.. most of all is great to see a Manager implement excellent customer service and lead by example. He was out there helping team members. The food was fresh and hot. Great place to grab a quick bite when shopping. Or just a great burger and positive at atmosphere.

Whent there twice on my lunch break the first time was just a spicy ketchup request.She said it was in the bag but there was no ketchup in there.
Not a big deal. Second time I went ask for no mustard. And they gave me mustard and mayonnaise again on my lunch break.Don’t have enough time to go back and reorder. If I go back going to make sure it’s right before driving off. Other than that, food’s good.Sometimes hot fries sometimes not.

Came in to eat to get that post meal in before grocery shopping and it was a great place to be. Elliot was our cashier and he was super nice and helpful. Also, very funny. He checked on us and made sure we were all taken care of. Thank you Elliot. The world needs more cashiers like you.
