Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Everytime i’ve ordered from here they take a hr plus . The first time it took almost 2 hours and my uber driver told me they didnt even have my meal made so they had to wait 30mins extra . I ordered Dec 4,2025 around 5 am and first i get my food with the box open then i start to take the meat out of my biscuits and gravy as it didnt look appealing and seen a black bold hair or plastic piece? not sure what it is didnt touch it but cant tell what it is not sure if thats from the restaurant orrrr?

For the most part at these places you know what you’re going to get or what you sign up for. Whataburger being probably the best fast food burger in the valley as it’s only real competitor being in and out. Though the experiences with Whataburger vary wildly. With this being a newly opened place there’s a good amount of staff on duty meaning that wait times are pretty short. Especially when it comes to online orders, though this one doesn’t exactly break the mold as my order got messed up and was redone, not to mention that this more open concept kitchen area means I can hear what I assume is the manager yelling l at the staff for getting it wrong. Which I can imagine judging by the reviews being a thing they are desperately trying to scrub. The other part is that I know that working in the service industry you need to blow off some steam and such especially when eating lunch but it felt weird hearing some staff just talk about customers and such which isn’t all that new, but they were talking loud enough for me to hear. Regardless my food was hot, and Delicious which is what I came for and big ups to Lewis for being a really cool guy. Though it was funny to see that kiosk out of order because last time I was at that location, the thing would time out and freeze and not let me pay. That being said I’ll be back because of convenience being off the 202 for sure.

I’ve given this spot so many chances it’s ridiculous, but I only come back for the spicy ketchup
I don’t understand how the price for large fries is not what I’m receiving
This is literally all I come for is fries and they’re spicy ketchup
They always give less than the container
And not only that but the fries are super oily stale and taste like old oil and then they over salt it to try to make up for that

8/18/24 1530 hours stopped at Whataburger for a deliciously made patty melt with bacon and mayo. Only it was cooked to perfection! We can go wrong with bacon and any Whataburger. small fries or freshly made. The Sprite had just enough ice to satisfy my needs. I spent $14.28.

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this NO stars I would. I payed $15 for 2 large fries and a large onion ring. They confirmed my order at the window and took my money only to give me an order that on the receipt said it was a “carry out” order. Should say drive thru. And CONVIENTLY did Not give me a receipt. This location knows they are scamming people out of food and money. I called them and they just laughed at me on the phone. This review section says it all.

Drive through. When I drove up to where customers order, I waited 5 minutes before anyone said anything over the intercom. We waited an extra 8 minutes for our chicken sandwiches and when we got home to eat…. the lettuce was brown and rotting and my tomatoes smelled rotten too!!!

Had a breakfast bowl with sausage and it was so good!! Also tried the Dr Pepper Blackberry Shake a previous time and was pleasantly surprised. Yummy.
