Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Although this Whataburger location was really busy, lots of people inside and at the drive through, the food was worth the wait. Delicious as always! We drove down from Denver just to get some Whataburger for dinner and it is always worth the drive. Us being originally from Texas, the food just tastes like home!

This burger was so good, and I loved the chicken tenders dipped in jalapeño ranch and cream of pepper sauce. The manager was so welcoming and helpful with the expansive menu. You will definitely find something delicious and tasty at this 24-hr establishment!

Everything about my visit was awesome. The store and the bathroom was very clean. My food was perfect I like that it’s hot when it arrived. Josh always makes me feel welcome when I come in he is very attentive to the customers and he checks on our meal to see if we need anything else. I hope Josh is recognized for his hard work. I wish he worked for me.

I tried this place back when they first opened up and didn’t have a great experience, but I chocked it up to hey new place, grand opening i get it. Fast forward to Today. Went through the drive through ordered some stuff and waited 25 min for food to come out, ok 25 min is long but I was vibin to my music it is what it is. Get home, open it up, take a bite, this isn’t even my order. So now I get to drive back. Arrive back at the whataburger, go inside, and wait another 20 min before someone at the counter acknowledges me. This has been a 45 min ordeal now so I just want a refund and want to go on my way. Let the person who finally asks me whats up this and then I have to wait another 10 min to get a manager to say it’s ok to give me back my money for something that I didn’t even order. I would assume for how much you guys charge for your stuff that you would at least make sure the order is accurate before you pass it out. Too pricey, poor service, and horrible wait times. I can get the same quality burger from McDonald’s across the street and wait 1/4 of the time.

So we were out in Colorado, and the kids wanted to compare Whataburger to In-N-Out.
We got some buffalo nuggets and burgers.
Let me start by saying the drinks and fies were massive and tasted good. The Sweet Tea was tasty, and fries were crispy and not oily.
The burger was clean and flavorful. Nuggets were yummy. It was definitely a wonderful experience.
Larger portions than most places and very clean nice establishment.
We prefer the flavor of In-N-Out but definitely delicious.

The food is very good, and the milkshakes are the real standout! I also really liked the onion rings with the creamy pepper sauce. I ordered the avocado bacon burger and it was quite good. I would also like to try one of their chicken sandwiches. There was so much good looking food on the menu it was a little hard to decide what to order.

Malachi is an excellent staff member, and Whataburger is fortunate to have someone so capable. He handled his responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency. However, while observing the restaurant’s operations, I couldn’t help but feel concerned that he was managing a very heavy workload on his own. This location may benefit from having additional support at the register to help balance responsibilities. Malachi did a great job, and I truly hope his hard work is recognized and fairly compensated.

Average at best. Went here during their opening week. The store was packed so does the line all the way outside. They have root beer float along with standard soft drinks. I find this place is overrated for what I get. We got toasted buns both side which help with the crispiness. Pretty average burger place comparing to other major fast food burger joins. The burger are so dry and blain, it looks so sad. Even their signature spicy ketchup is not spicy. We had high hopes but only to be disappointed.
