Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Waited 10 minutes to even take our order. They had No brioche bun, No medium combo sizes, No spicy ketchup available. Paid EXTRA for bacon and got none in my sandwich, clearly says NO TOMATO and yet got some. Fries were so stale and cold. Total for both our combos was $34. Do we have to check the inside of our sandwiches before driving off now?? This fast food chain isn’t cheap. I hope that with picture proof the managers take action and responsibility. Terrible experience.

My wife paid for a #13 MEAL. And was told that they ran out of Gravy. Which is already paid for with the meal, so my wife asked for a buffalo and ranch. The girl at the counter proceeded to tell her she has to charge her for the buffalo sauce. Even though it’s THIER fault they were out or gravy. When I asked why they would charge when they’re the ones who aren’t providing what’s on the menu ahead replied with “ I don’t know “. I also asked her who and if the store manager was there and she IGNORED me. Fries were stale as well. Just figured I’d leave the review since to me, if I pay for something that comes with a meal, I’d expect to get all that’s said, that’s included.

This whataburger is SO STINGY with their sauce unless you ask for a specific amount they won’t give it to you and even when I go in person they leave before I can even get the chance to ask. Its not that hard to ask for a specific amount and it CERTAINLY shouldn’t be hard to read for the online orders, this is the fifth time I’ve had an issue with them.

I was in on Saturday, January 24 where I placed a five different combos order, including a triple burger with an extra patty and I did not get the extra patty then I also ordered a number five that comes with bacon and they had not put bacon in this order, unfortunately this has happened three different times. On Saturday I called and I spoke with the shift manager Vidi. She told me if I’d come in they take care of me. I came in today January 26 and the shift manager said she couldn’t help me because the issue had happened on Saturday not on Monday that I need to come back when Vidy was available. Unfortunately, I work all day and I can’t come during the day to accommodate to Whataburger’s schedule. Their food is very tasty. Unfortunately the service at this specific location lacks a lot and I do not recommend you come to the store. There’s many other Whataburger you can go and visit just stay away from this one on Montwood and Zaragoza.
Today January 27 I called to speak with the store manager and Oscar took my call very friendly. Very nice. Told me to come in. That would take care of me in the afternoon. I came by spoke with Marili and I have to say I big difference from the manager last night they took care of me, replace the orders made them combos, took care of me very friendly apologized absolute shout out to Oscar and Marilee at Whataburger located on Saragoza in Mountwood.

The restaurant needs more training in customer service and food quality. When I placed an order, I didn’t receive the majority of it. I called the restaurant shift manager, but they didn’t seem to care about the issue. They just told me to call a different number.

An entire meal was missing from my order. One of the sandwiches had a hair thoughtfully nestled between condiments, hugged by melted cheese. Manager claims she doesn’t know how that could have happened since only males are on shift (herself excluded, I guess). Not even an apology.

Came here because I was in the area, Great n clean, service was fast with steam still coming out of my Burger which is a good sign. Employees doing their part in keeping clean n organized. We loved it here!
