Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

It was a starry night after a wedding approximately 2:00AM on 2/28/26. Simple order just a #1eith cheese no onions. These team member got it RIGHT. it was HOT, FAST and most importantly DELICIOUS!! Team cleared the line quickly. Provided excellent customer service even during these ungodly hours and delicious HOT food. Fries are still hot when I got home. Please give these team meets a RAISE and some PRAISE. To the team met of this night, I’m sorry I didn’t get your names but thank you guys so much!!!

We placed an order @ 1302. At 1332 we had not received our order. We contacted the servers. Noone could/would explain why we have not received our order yet. As of 1340 we finally received our dine in order with one item missing but order was made to go. We saw people come and go. Guess what??? We were the only people that looked different. Explain why… You know why.

Drive through ordered a meal and asked for spicy ketchup. Literally gave me one ketchup packet. Last visit wasn’t great either. It’s come to the point where you need to thoroughly inspect the bag every time. Locations may vary.

Went up to Wataburger at Fairbanks and McCombs this morning (order # 551177). Went through the drive through and while giving my order I had to stop the young lady from jumping ahead of me on taking the order because she wasn’t listening. After repeating my order 3 times. They still got it wrong, plus I told them to keep the change. I wont make that mistake again.
When I called up there 35 mins later and from home, the manager tells me I have to come back which is 10 mins away, and bring the food back so it can be fixed.

As a U.S Marine these young folks dont listen enough. Too busy in the establishment cutting up with their friends and crap.
We had a old saying that if you dont have time to do something right the first time, how the heck will you have time to come back and redo it.

Worst food experience I have had in over a year. Burgers were old and cold. Even though I was very specific in my order and had to repeat it 3 times – it came out completely wrong. I followed my wife’s order completely asking for a bacon cheeseburger with a regular bun, no vegetables, with mustard. It came covered with onions, pickles, and lettuce. The smell of the onions made her ill and so she didn’t eat dinner at all. I had asked to add bacon and avocado to my jalapeño cheeseburger. It came with no bacon. I looked at better options but chose the nearest Whataburger for speed and convenience due to watching the game. Ruined my evening and made me slow to do any fast food.

This location is closest to my house, but I highly recommend you go to a different location. I would rather drive the extra miles to my favorite location on Transmountain near Walmart. This location always get my orders wrong, the power always seems to be going out, the workers don’t know what they are doing and just today ordered online and the worker cane to my car to tell me that the sodas don’t have carbonation, she informed me she would take off the drink from my order, but proceeded to give the food and told me to take it up with my bank. Seriously for $2.49. NO THANK YOU!!!

The incompetence of this location is unwavering. I can’t remember a single time I’ve gone where they didn’t forget an item or make an item incorrectly. I live a minute drive away from this location but at this point i will probably just drive the extra 5 minutes to the Fairbanks location
