Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Late night visit. Place was full. I was greeted by a very nice girl. We ordered a single combo and 2 double combos. Food came out quick but the skimped on the veggies.No big deal. What impressed me was the was the young girl treated the homeless man sitting in the corner booth drinking from his kids cup. I flagged her down so that I could purchase a meal for him. I don’t know who was more pleased, her or the man receiving the meal.

We love Whataburger, but avoid this location at all costs! They have massive health code violations issues. The staff gave the incorrect order to a vehicle. The customer that received the wrong order then gave back the incorrect items and rightly demanded their proper order. The Whataburger staff the decided that rather than disposing of the items as they are required to do, they tried to pass it off to the next vehicle in line (my car). The straws from the beverages were dirty and wet. There were no fries in any of the kids’ meals bags. The kid’s cookies were not in the bags. Don’t risk your health eating here if they can’t be bothered to follow basic food safety protocols.

Multiple times I’ve ordered the #11 and gotten the #1, on top of that there pricing on the drive thru menus have been wrong, i.e i ordered a chicken fajita taco thinking it would be roughly $5 only to be charged almost twice as much and today after giving me the wrong order again, a #1 instead of the #11 there was some unknown brown goopy substance on the applesauce

My daughter chose Whataburger as her out to eat birthday meal. The staff was attentive. The manager went out of his way to make my daughter feel extra special. She was given a birthday box of goodies from whataburger. She enjoys the huge cookie. She proudly wore the lanyard and sanitizer around her neck. She will always remember her birthday this year because the box included the table tent with the number of her age on it. She was excited to have her picture taken and placed on the Whataburger wall. The food was made correctly, and it was hot and fresh. Super job Whataburger for making my daughter feel special on her special day.

This was my first time having this. I have to say the burgers are tasty. Real onions on them too not little flakes. Good old fashioned fries as well. As far as fast food burgers go this is at the top. Doesn’t taste like processed or frozen burgers…good stuff on the go.

Showed up just before midnight. Had one of the absolute best burgers I have ever eaten. Typically if you go get fast food at midnight, you get served a hastily made shitty burger.
This was not that. The pickles and onions and tomatoes and lettuce were carefully distributed evenly on the burger. Nothing was greasy or soggy.
It was absolutely perfect.
I had just finished a very long, physically demanding, and mentally exhausting work day. This burger was so incredibly needed and appreciated.
I cannot give enough stars.

Every time I order something from drive thru they mess up my order. The girl takes the order, and they let me wait 10-15 min in the front then another girl comes I asked did you put all the sauces or whatever I asked she said check it out sir. She was very rude. Then she brought them out I left and I realize this time they didn’t put the orange juice. It was too late for me to go back because I had to work. They don’t take their job serious and very rude. They need to learn how to communicate with people. They don’t even say ‘Good morning’ ‘Hi’ ‘How are you?’ I don’t know how they train them but that store need a really good management. I hope this helps them to improve their selves more. Now I l see why people go to chick fil a next door more.

We visited this location in May while in the area for my Grandma’s funeral. Two managers were outside checking on the experience for all the customers going through the drive-thru. They were kind enough to ask how we were and if we were local, and we explained why we were in town.
When we got to the window, we learned that they had comped our meal. It was so amazingly sweet and absolutely made our days. It meant so, so much to my Mom. In addition to these amazing staff, service was quick and the food, as it pretty much always is at Whataburger, was so tasty. Highly recommend this location!
