Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I said no sauce I got the chicken Buffalo sandwich I added onion n green chile. I wanted it dry and instead of doing what I ask, they pour the whole bottle of buffalo and ranch on the sandwich super soggy so disappointing because I love Whataburger

I stopped in Odessa to “gas up” at Sam’s Club, and grab a bite to eat lunch. It was between Jimmy John’s and WhataBurger. Since I stopped in Odessa a couple of weeks back (snow) and picked up Jimmy John’s. I decided to get WhataBurger and am I glad I did. I ordered the Green Chile burger combo, plus a limited edition cup. The green chile burger had just enough heat and the patties tasted like they were fresh off the grill. The fries were nice and hot and beautifully seasoned. Best burger I’ve had in a while. And, I live in In-n-Out country!

Great service when placing the order. They had a busy drive thru line and still managed to get my take out order done in a reasonable amount of time. Too bad some seemed to have a slight negative attitude towards the busy night. The location will lend itself to being busy. Gotta prepare for what’s to come at a busy intersection. Food was a decent temperature and taste.

The morning staff is always ready, I go here every morning for my daily routine , in fact I’m glad the staff knows everything that goes on like when my tooth(I take it out when eating or drinking) was taken off my table along with the pen I do my Bible verse with. The evening shift was kind enough to let me know it was one of their managers, yet my tooth is still not there. Hopefully it returns soon as I don’t have $1200 to replace it . It’s also wonderful to see different faces daily . Keeps a smile on my face.

It’s one of those places that just does everything worse. I like the breakfast bowl, but they just add a spoonful of gravy which kinda ruins it because it’s so dry. If you order something with a biscuit don’t be surprised if you have to wait 45 minutes. The other whataburger don’t suck at breakfast.

How are you supposed to eat pancakes without syrup or burritos without hot sauce? Why don’t they notify on the app before you order if they’re out of something. I got to the location to pickup our order and when i gave my name, they could have advised me that they were out of stuff instead of sending us on the road without syrup. Wait was extremely long also!

18 minutes to get my order. It was wrong. Floors are dirty and greasy and you slide while standing there. $17 for a burger, onion rings, large drink. Then another .54 for the plastic cup that came with my wife’s meal. Don’t know why hers was free and mine wasn’t. Whatever. But with these extremely high prices I expect more.

Exceptionally long, wait for being the third vehicle in line. They have a very narrow, two lane drive-through. The food I received was colder than room temp with stale fries. If you want a a soulless burger with dry patties that you will need to throw in the microwave this is your place.
