Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Classic location.

This team is consistent. Professional. Proud of their work.

What stood out to me was this — you know how some places suddenly turn on the charm when a manager walks by? Funny how that works. Not here. The respect and service were the same across the board. No supervisor hovering, no performance show. Just good people doing their job the right way.

That says more than any slogan on the wall.

“Samual K” was my point of contact, strong communication, stayed moving, handled things smoothly. You can tell he takes pride in it.

I’ve been to a lot of Whataburgers and being from Corpus Christi, where it all began, I expect a lot from these locations. Big Spring Whataburger disappoints. I ordered the Double Meat burger. The patties were cold!!! Didn’t even melt the cheese!!! Still kinda raw too. Service and atmosphere were good but cold burgers don’t do it for me. Fries and onion rings were fresh so that’s good.

We stopped here on our way home from visiting family for the holiday, and it was exactly what we needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food came out fresh and hot. Overall, a great experience and a perfect stop during our drive.

It was my first time to see all employees were down and not friendly. They are close kin but something happens outside from work that should not bring to work . They need to keep separate and keep their professional and be friendly.

This was my first visit to this . Roneshi was friendly during the ordering process . I noticed my receipt shows $12.49 for the TPL MEAT combo ,but the menu price says $11.49. I’m curious how much they pay for the slice of cheese they charge me .55 cents. I hope Roneshi is vauled here. She’s out here cleaning up the tables now. The burger was ok little cold, and the fries were cold and replaced quickly. They were busy today.

Store was dirty. Was over charged for food because worker didnt know how to ring up the food items the right way, even though she has worked there for awhile but that wasnt her normal shift. The kid that handed me my order kinda shoved the order my way and walked off with no offer for ketchup or napkins or anything even as I was trying to ask for some. The fries were fresh but very discolored assuming old grease.
