Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Never use to come here because the service and food was not good. Now I come weekly, the fry’s are golden and hot and the burgers are perfect. They have stepped up the service and the employees don’t look like they hate everything and everyone.

I have consistently had positive experiences with this location, even on late busy nights. However, tonight I ordered food for my son and myself and received undercooked chicken strips. Upon taking a bite, I immediately spat it out, as this is completely unacceptable. The chicken was raw, and my child could have potentially consumed it first

I went to a Whataburger back in 2017 and was not impressed with it, but my coworkers wanted to head here for lunch so I decided to try it again. I ordered the bacon and cheese Whataburger meal with only lettuce, and it came with a medium fries and medium drink. The people working were very friendly. I placed my order at the counter and then sat down to wait for my meal. They came out and brought it to me, and then had a caddy of sauces. I got some ketchup. I enjoyed my food! It was a lot of food, and the french fries were crispy and went great with the Whataburger-branded ketchup. They have a spicy ketchup available as well, and that one had an interesting taste. The burger itself was very good and filling. For about $12, this meal was really good. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. I would definitely come back to Whataburger after this experience!

I didn’t like the unclean feel to this place. The chicken burger was okay, but the lettuce was subpar. The fountain drink machine was very carbonated and was hard to tell when the cup was full due to the bubbles. Napkins and other food utensils were sparse or empty. The restroom requires a code to use. Parking is tedious due to the 19th street construction. I was not impressed, but I was in a bind to get food in a short time window.

We waited in the drive thru line for almost 40 minutes and no one even came to greeet us at the window or acknowledge us I noticed that the manager was doing everything by himself while two other employees just stood there and talked and giggled. I actually started to feel bad for the manager because he had no real help. We won’t be going back to that whataburger anytime soon

Got a #13 they ask me what dipping sauce and I said gravy but they didn’t even give it to me. And the fries look and taste like they warmed them up in a microwave. The chicken doesn’t even taste that great.
