Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Tried the double burger with cheese and fries. Along with Dr Pepper shake. The place was a bit dirty and garbage cans were full. The Pattie’s were cold but the fries were hot and tasty. The milkshake was very good. There’s a few homeless hanging around. Bouncing from McDonald’s and Whataburger. The restaurant has potential. Wish the burger was fresh off grill I think that it would have been very tasty.

I have been to quite a few Whataburger restaurants in the last few years and I can say that this restaurant is absolutely the best one that I have been in. This location is always clean, the food is always good and prepared properly and last but not least, the personnel are always neat, clean and courteous. The franchisee is always present and involved. Kudos to her and her attention to detail as well as her dedication to her business. I’ll always go out of my way to eat here.

My husband and I had walked up there and got some food. Great service, clean and nice people. I went home realized they forgot to add something to my buger i called and she said that they would give me what they had forgotten. My husband started walking up there when i Realized that my frys are cold and even colder the further i went down. i couldn’t get ahold of my husband, because he was waking up there. So i called the store and talked with this very nice lady again. I told her what happened said that my husband fry’s are fine but mine i are cold and said im sorry i called again i just couldn’t eat cold fry she said she would send my husband home with a replacement fry. I am very grateful for her kindness i know how horrible working in fast food can be. She was king and understanding with me being unable to bring the old fry’s back. I have some heath issues that makes it difficult for me to move. So for her to have done this for me means the world. This Wonderful Lady i believe is a manger was working on August 16th between 5 and 630pm. She needs a raise and should be rewarded for her customer service. I also seen her deal with other customers as well and she was just amazing!

Wth the long wait in line I expected the fries to be fresh not luke-warm and I wasn’t given/offered any ketchup or sauces at all. My bbq chicken strip sandwich was ok but the bread itself was awful. It would clump and get stuck on my tongue, teeth, gums. It was like paste and tasted about as pleasant. I ended up just eating the chicken strips alone. I upgraded the drink to the banana pudding shake and it was delicious! However, when ordering, I was asked what size. I said “regular or whatever it normally comes with” and ended up getting a ridiculously large 32oz cup. I’m not sure if that’s what normally comes with or if I got upcharged. $13 is Super pricy for gummy chicken sandwich, cold fries and crazy large shake. I would have rathered smaller and charged as much. I also didn’t get a single napkin. I did try to order a breakfast sandwich at the window but the cashier seemed irritated so I said, “if it’s a big deal, totally ok to not add that”. Her response was, “well….you’ll have to wait a lot longer…” It definitely seemed like she was discouraging it so I just agreed to the original order only. And from what I received, I guess I’m glad I saved the extra few dollars. Bummed that this was my experience. I’ve heard such great things about Whataburger in general and was excited to try it.

Slow. Cars in the drive through were being served quickly while the customers inside were waiting over 15 minutes or longer for their orders. I was on a strict schedule on a 13 hour road trip and couldn’t wait any longer so I had to leave before receiving my meal.

Took 40 minutes in line awful service, super slow, many employees relaxing on office says 24 hrs but clearly doesn’t have the staff for all night service. Also 4 people obviously on drugs were wandering in the parking lot after midnight.

I love Whataburger, but this has to be the worst Whataburger I’ve ever had. I ordered online and it said it would be done in 5-10 min but after countless people ordered and got there food before me I finally got my disappointing burger. I could not even finish the burger it was so bad after two bites it was in the trash. Horrible food
