Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered a whatswing honey BBQ but I asked for no diping sauce because I didn’t use it and they didn’t add ANY sauce. This place sucks. Workers also tend to ignore the rest of your order or show attitude

Just make sure you get your condiments and drinks up front, because they won’t make sure the order was completely received. This isn’t the first time it’s been several. I’m just tired of reminding or having to go into the store to get the full order. Plus side is they have good food!

Tried the double burger with cheese and fries. Along with Dr Pepper shake. The place was a bit dirty and garbage cans were full. The Pattie’s were cold but the fries were hot and tasty. The milkshake was very good. There’s a few homeless hanging around. Bouncing from McDonald’s and Whataburger. The restaurant has potential. Wish the burger was fresh off grill I think that it would have been very tasty.

We waited in the drive-thru for a good 10 minutes and the guy told us to come inside because we only wanted milkshakes so it wouldn’t take nearly as long. We go inside and are virtually ignored. It turned out to be a complete waste of time. We ended up leaving without the milkshakes we waited way to long for.

We love Whataburger breakfast biscuits (both regular & jalepeno) with sausage and pepperjack cheese (not all locations offer pepperjack). Hits the spot every time. The folks at the north Amarillo location had fresh biscuits baking when we arrived, so we had to wait a bit, but it was so very worth it. Delicious on the go breakfast!
