Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Wow. Visiting from out of town and wanted to get whataburger. All I have to say is what-a-mistake. I ordered chicken sandwich with mayo but the receipt said no condiments. I ended up with them putting mustard on my chicken sandwich. They forgot our onion rings and both chicken sandwiches had different buns as they said the normal ones were frozen due to Truck coming in late. They said they will email me a coupon but not sure I want to try another mustard chicken sandwich. See pics.

Normally, they do a pretty good job. But this morning, not so much. I ordered two Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits. Each biscuit has about as much chicken as a McDonald’s Chicken McNugget! After eating the first one, I decided to open the second one and take a picture. The first one was a little larger, but the one in the image is inexcusable.

Traveling thru and stopped there to eat. It was a wonderful experience from the word go. The employees were top notch and so friendly. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. I walked off after ordering and forgot to pay the young lady. She said she knew I would be back and she saved it in the register because she thought my sister was going to be on the same ticket. All was good. Wish all Whataburger locations were this friendly and good.

This was my first time at Whataburger, and I honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and came out surprisingly fast. What really stood out, though, was the amazing customer service. The elder man who took our order went above and beyond—he was cleaning around the dining area, placing orders, and even came over to ask if everything was okay. I know Whataburger isn’t a sit-down or waiter-style restaurant, but he made us feel welcomed. That kind of service makes a huge difference. He definitely deserves a raise! Because of him, this was such a great first experience, and I will 100% be coming back.

I live about 15 minutes west of town. I didn’t discover I received the wrong order until I was home. I called as soon I as I discovered it, and Victoria verified my info and my order. I was to go today for a replacement patty melt. Unfortunately I failed to get names of the staff who helped me today, but they were friendly, fast, and professional. Thanks for the exceptional service.

A lovely place to stop and eat! Food was hot and delicious and workers were welcoming and friendly. Customer service was definitely on point and we recommend this spot to anyone. In my experience Whataburgers never have good coffee but this place had good coffee and I finished my entire cup!

The first time I ordered a chicken sandwich it was dry I tried again and its dry with an old piece of lettuce. Also they forgot to put in spicy ketchup through the drive thru and on another day they forgot the chocolate chip cookies i ordered with the kids meal. Not sure if the employees need better training but I wont be going back for awhile.

There was plenty to enjoy at this whataburger. I dont understand why the reviews would be so low. Every time I’ve gone I have had fast service as soon as I walked in, staff is always friendly in taking my order and when I ask for my burger on toast they roll with it. I got my food fast and hot and everything was very clean. The staff greeted me when I walked in and when I left thanking them for the food. They made sure I was enjoying my food and I felt very nice.

Went there for dinner tonight and Adam was our cashier. He was dealing with a difficult customer prior to us and remained calm and kind as he corrected her order of 6 ranch dips! (Haha!)
He then waited on us and was very friendly and knowledgeable!!! The other young man helping him out was very kind too! The cook did an amazing job, everything was hot, fresh and perfect to our liking! Great job tonight Plainview Whataburger!!!!!!
