Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whataburger is classic Texas fast food done right. The burgers are juicy, the fries are crispy, and everything hits the spot whether you’re grabbing breakfast, lunch, or a late-night snack. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, even when it got busy.
It’s not fancy, but if you’re craving a tasty, satisfying meal with that iconic Whataburger flavor, this location delivers. Definitely worth a stop when you’re in Austin!

If you’re going to advertise 24 HOURS, then act like it. But the kind of attitude going on here the food might be undercooked because
Whoever is working between 2:00–3:00 AM needs To be fired or serious retraining. The attitude was nasty, irritated, and unprofessional. Customers are not bothering you by ordering food at a place that claims to be open all night.
Online ordering “wasn’t working.” No solutions. Just attitude.
So since I couldn’t physically leave, I ordered through Uber Eats. And somehow it got worse.
The order was wrong.
And $10 worth of food was missing. TEN dollars.
That’s not a small mistake. That’s an entire item (or multiple items) just gone.
And Uber Eats offering $2 like that fixes anything? Be serious.
$2 does not cover $10 worth of missing food. It doesn’t even begin to address the inconvenience.
Late-night customers still deserve accuracy and basic respect. If the overnight shift can’t handle it, then stop pretending this location is 24 hours.
This was trifling from start to finish. Food extra cold, and not even properly wrapped. ♀️ ♀️ ♀️
Why people don’t tip, I tipped and This Is still the type of service you get?

Horrible service. I like wattaburger but this location, not as much. It’s always something. I placed an online order. Got there. It wasn’t ready. After waiting over 45 to even get to the window ( the drive thru set up did not allow me to just pull out so you have to wait until you get to a certain spot yo pull off) my order was still not ready. I literally witnessed only 3 orders ho out in 45 minutes. People were still waiting inside and out from when I pulled up. Asked yo just cancel the order and not one person knew how to. The manager told me they don’t no anything about the app. So after another 10 minutes finally he offered a refund. Not only did I not get my good, it took my entire break, and I ended up eith a hunger headache. I have never experienced this from any other location but it’s always something at this location. They have lost me as a customer.

I placed my order and I clearly said no onions, no pickles, the number one combo meal with cheese. She repeated the order back to me (the number one combo with cheese no onions no pickles). I said correct…. When I get back to my work location, why is the burger loaded with onions and has pickles? The fries are old and cold!!!!

It’s a whataburger so my expectations are low, but the last FIVE times I have come here for a #13 chicken tender combo they’ve not given me my Texas toast AND 2 out of those five times they gave me ranch dressing instead of gravy? We like Whataburger since moving to TX. However this location not so much. I pull in as the only car on the lot. However, they still ask me to pull forward after payin to wait on my food which I didnt like. The facilities need an upgrade in my opinion compared to other locations and faster service. Customer service was nice overall though.

This Whataburger makes me really happy! The shape of the building is just like the Whataburgers I knew growing up, and the burgers, fries, shakes, and fried pies taste exactly as wonderful as I remember them. The servers here are excellent, working carefully to get your order right, and they look as if they enjoy their jobs. I live closer to another location, but I’ll be back here many times.

My first visit inside this store, was not greeted, the lovely lady with purple hair was not happy with being there or maybe it was me idk, either way leave your problems at home, food was excellent. Don’t get hello, you’re welcome, nothing, so much for that Texas hospitality we tried keeping alive.
