Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

If you want good food go to Whataburger but if you want GREAT service which elevates the food to be UNFORGETTABLE then go to Whataburger on Westgate. You’ll be greeted by the sweetest most welcoming lady probably ever…she isn’t welcoming customers into a “fast food joint”…. No it’s more like she’s welcoming guests she’s missed bad into her home during the holidays… It’ll make you feel so incredibly special and seen BUT thankfully for this company she treats every guest like that…and if you come at night/graveyard Keira will make you the best thickest most perfect milkshake you’ve ever had …. Shell even make the impossible possible…And the most spectacular reason to come here… Crystal Wonder Woman thee Stallion…. (not that it’s important) but she’s probably the freshest most beautiful faced & easily hardest working Operating Partner in the Whataburger empire… You’ll see her and think beautiful people shouldn’t be working that hard lol no but in all seriousness there’s “bosses” and “leaders” who should be running the country… Shes definitely in the latter category…she’s that manager who’s a catalyst in your life for the better… She teaches you important life lessons that you carry to every job and into your career. The world needs more people like Keira, Crystal and most importantly Diana, who blatantly does everything with love and hospitality…. All three of these lovely women make Whataburger incredibly proud DAILY … And are undeniably great ambassadors for and of the brand.
Also the cleanest Whataburger Ive ever even been to the groundskeeper gentleman never stops moving to make this place spotless!
P.s. The Big Ranch Wrap is what other “clown” places wish their Snack Wraps were…and the Whatacatch looks incredible this year..I can’t wait to try it.

I moved here from NY last week and have already been here twice! My kids and I are obsessed! Every single thing is perfect. The fries and spicy ketchup, boneless wings, burgers, shakes! The staff is very nice and the restaurant is very clean, even the bathroom!

The food was very good. The fries were fresh and hot. I ordered a #5 with extra cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños. They made it correct and pretty quick too. The store was pretty clean, and the customer service was great.

Worst service ever. Me and my wife came by for the HBCB promo. Got told it was one per vehicle, then asked why when the offer states one per person. The drive thru attendant decided to get aggressive over the situation and when my wife got to the window had the snappiest of attitudes. The app itself was glitching and we had no idea it was a scannable barcode this year. When we told her to relax and stop being so hostile she just stated “Trust me, this ain’t me being hostile” almost as if she was threatening us. We didnt even get an apology. Crystal the manager showed up and helped but showed no empathy nor thought the girl was in wrong. Worst experience and attitude.

I’ve been coming to this Whataburger for years, over the one on Texas because the parking lot is better. I live 15 minutes away and almost eveytime I order they forget an item in my order, I usually let it go or have made it a habit to check the bag, 3 weeks ago I forgot to check the bag for home and my whole family started eating except me. I was super hungry and it was late, so I called and they apologized and said I could come in whenever to get my meal. I came in today and was told I could not get my meal they forgot because it’s been too long. Because of the horrible experiences I’ve been having at this place I have been getting fast food at other places when im in a hurry because of they keep on forgetting things and essentially stealing my money. The manager could have handled this differently, I will longer get food at this location and if I’m craving a burger Freddy’s just opened up and they are so good!

This location on Westgate is such a grat friendly place to eat. Evertime my family and I go eat there its is always clean and the staff super friendly. The manager Jorge is just the best. Always making sure we have all we need. Thank you.

This is the way we received our order to go. Looks like someone took a bite out of my burger, but I’m sure that’s not the case. The Whataburger Jr was minced almost beyond recognition. Total order $22+ usd. 1/3 of order to general satisfaction. Paying premium dollar just like everyone else. Gas is pretty high to go back and get re-order. We don’t live close.
Spoke with a manager named Rosario. She said we could come back. Refused. She said she would make it right. Placed on compensation list. We’ll see. I’ll come back and edit review if they do.

Went back, order was replaced. Forced to check ✔️ order…should have done this on the first order and Rosario kept the original receipt. That’s ok I took a pic.
