Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I visit this location twice a month. It’s good fast-food..
..but what is so difficult about double-checking that an order is correct?
Every single time I go here, the team omits or forgets to add either fries, the condiments I asked for, or sometimes even an entire burger or sandwich.
I get it. The employees are younger and don’t see this job as something worth grinding at. I understand that as a younger person, too.. But to miss something every single time indicates a much larger issue with either the leadership, training, or morale.
I’ve been around the state and have frequented other locations many, many times and have not had this issue, so I know it’s location specific.
Good food, just needs some redirection in the kitchen.

I make the trip from Mission to the La Joya whataburger because everything from the service to the way the prepare the burgers is just perfect. There is no soggy burgers here with a bunch of sauces or cheese stuck to the wrapper. But above all is that family feeling from employees. Don’t change nothing La Joya Whataburger

Not all Wataburgers are created equal, and this one is really really good. The food came out fast even though they were busy. The food was so good. One of the best locations I’ve been to.

It’s fast food, but you need to have Whataburger at least once in your life! The burgers are fabulous and their shakes are great too. If you can’t eat two burgers let them know you want just one patty because most of their burgers come with two.

Place has potential tbh. Food is good, service is pretty fast, but it being sanitary idk, there was a bunch of mold on the ICE only saw it because we ordered sprite, 3 drinks with moldy ice.

When I come to Whataburger I expect the hunted to be eaten, not the prey to begin attempting a meal out of me! There were two stink bugs I had no intent on killing…(for obvious reasons). Then, to my further disturbance, this bloodsucking lunatic for buzzing occupants began circling my booth in a homicidal intent! Genocide was reined!!! Triumph was abruptly obliviated upon realization the ceiling accompanied with a startling number of various parts of the ecosystem! Forlorn, despondent, defeated…I quietly quit the exhibition. Among further analysis, the service and food was excellent!

Ordered onion rings and they were soaked with oil! I know they are fried but they were not even crunchy with all the oil they still had. Felt like I was putting a teaspoon of oil in my mouth! I literally had to spit one out. Because when i bit it it filled my mouth with oil. Im not kidding! Before this.. had no complains.. the personnel is friendly

Employees should really mind their words on the floor as very much vulgar words were expressed by one young lady and as well talking while taking my order I felt that my service was not as great as other times and for the lady in the register to purposely misspelling my name and laughing I really don’t appreciate that
