Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I don’t normally complain, but this was ridiculous. My breakfast taco on a burnt tortilla and the egg was basically crispy. Not in a good way. For a place that’s known for decent food, this was a huge disappointment. Do better, Whataburger.

The drive thru experience is awful here. Immediately ask you for name for an order. You are asked unnecessary questions including to identify yourself by name, two questions trying to upsell you, and one question asking for donations. Removes the friendliness of what used to be Whataburger. Meanwhile, my order is correct only 80% of the time.

Just tried out the new Southern Bacon Double at Whataburger! Tangy but not spice. Double cheese and bacon! Just a bit too much sauce but it was good. Doesn’t come with tomato but I’ll try it with it next time.
Establishment was clean and staff kept coming around and cleaning up.
