Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Never a bad word about this place. Whataburger always comes in clutch for breakfast or just afterhours. Their different spicy ketchups pair perfectly with the sandwiches. You really get it the way you like it! I once witnessed a man ask for 13 patties and he got them. This location is very considerate and efficient with the drive thru line. Love it

On arrival the outside was appealing nice clean establishment. Walking to the counter, wow, don’t recall the smell of burger and fries could take me back when I was a young youth be so inviting for a good meal. So sad I only had time for pick up. Price are fairly $$ depends what you order. Food are made to your liking selection. Taste depends on tbe employee care not all are the same cookers, parties are bascily timed so careful to ask to your liking, my is well done not pinkish meat. Come on your own risk, happy eating back in the past eating.

Food is always good. But 15-20 minutes wait in drive through when only one car was in front of me not so good. I’ll go back again and if time is better change my rating to 5 or down to three, all depends on wait time. Of course if there is 5 cars in front of me that will be taken into consideration.

Whataburger Ruben Torres & Expressway. Mgr Mr.Roel. I came in and there was no line at all inside. They got my order and I noticed Mgr was dealing with the police about a matter but the guys (employees) over there (like 10 people) they ignored me and I never got my sandwich. Other people came in thru drive thru and inside and they put their orders… People there (employees) were so entertained in the “chisme” and they didn’t listen to me. After many attempts to get my sandwich I decided to ask for my money back.I spent about 15 minutes in vain.They DO NOT have any customer service skills at all.Mr.Roel told them several times about my order but they didn’t listen! Mr.Roel had a good attitude but not the rest of the employees Too bad so sad!

The food was cold, and we got our food 30 min late. They claimed that because it was a large order, others got their even though it was larger, the dining room was full of smoke, gave us the wrong order as well, employees were lost in making orders, manager was not happy giving me a refund for an order that was 40 mins late from a friend. Never again will I go the 802 wataburger. Hope they get their act together soon, extremely disappointed

It was 2 am and i went searching everywhere for ice cream. 2 mcdonald’s, 2 other whataburgers, and finally we got to this one and they had some. thank gosh for victor gaytan who took our order and told us they had shakes. such a nice worker and even though it was 2 in the morning he had a bright attitude. all around sensational service
