Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

When we stopped in for a Breakfast on a Bun. The place was super busy, but team leader Amanda made sure she greeted everyone as they came through the door, she moved the crowd through the orderline while giving great personal service.
As always the food was served in a reasonable amount of time, in a very friendly manner. Breakfast on a bun with sausage is always delicious! If there’s a line when you pull up, don’t worry, they are pros at getting you great food quickly.

Just stopped in for lunch and was greeted by a nice young lady named Haley. Very friendly. I decided to dine in today, the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Service was excellent, food was hot and fresh. What stood out to me was how hard Haley was working, from taking orders to delivering them to your table, checking on customers, cleaning and overall just busting her butt. It was refreshing to see someone whose cares and works hard. Made the stop worth it.

Everything went well it was fast and easy and they did not screw up my order oh wait yes they did they screwed up my order. My husband’s Burger was supposed to just be mustard and pickles but they heard me wrong or didn’t get it right and he had lettuce and tomato. But mine was correct and delicious and I enjoyed it.

On 2/10/2026 at approximately 7pm my family and I walked in on the manager (female) speaking to staff in an unprofessional manner. The tone she used was demeaning and belittling. The atmosphere was tense and it was clear she makes staff feel uncomfortable by creating a hostile environment. Her tone changed when she realized our attention was turned to her as it was distracting while we ordered. Once we sat and more customers entered her demeanor changed and continued to make eye contact with me (clearly watching her behavior). Running a tight ship means more than creating a toxic work environment. Every one of those young employees were respectful, extremely kind and clearly hard working.These employees deserve a shout out for being dedicated to their job even while having poor leadership. Those kids deserve a leader that is going to teach them good work ethic and develop them for the BRIGHT future they have ahead of themselves. High five to yall and SMH for this manager to think this generation doesn’t have family and community that supports them. Thank so much for your attention to this matter. PERIOD

You go in the day time it’s great. But when you go after 5 it’s disgusting. Burger is always wrong, fries are always cold, ordered onion rings instead not surprised to get home and find them cold and disgusting. Idk why it takes so long at the window when nothing is correct or fresh. Will not return.

However, it was disappointing to find that Whataburger’s sauces carried an extra charge, a small detail that tainted an otherwise enjoyable meal. The cleanliness of the establishment was commendable, with particular praise deserved for the spotless bathroom facilities. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, adding a layer of warmth to the overall dining experience. Despite minor drawbacks, Whataburger delivers a solid fast-food experience that could easily turn first-time visitors into regular patrons.

Ordered the #8 all the way with cheese add ketchup extra pickles on the side, large fry, diet dr pepper. Received my burger with no lettuce, tomatoes or pickles. Plenty of ketchup and mustard.
