Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

2-17-2026 -Worst drive thru experience ever, the girl at the drive thru window was too worried about going home so that she wouldn’t get locked out of her house, talking about her problems while i was at the open window ” mind you ” also no customer service skills . Had a bad attitude and the staff didn’t make my order right. Just a number 2 with a milkshake fries and onion rings .After correcting her order she was very rude , also forgot to mention after working 16 hours – was hoping to go home happy , non the less , no TY . SMH I’ll go to staples st close to Baldwin from here on out !Texan Trail used to be good back in the day. Being a business owner myself I’d not have this in my workplace…. Maybe management should address these issues . Or workers should go to work happy …

Food is good, not so much for service. Bought a meal and wanted my coffee in a foam cup, they said nope we place it in paper cups, want it in a foam cup you have to buy a soda. Wow! Who says and does that. This Whataburger does. Besides, the person at the register was rude about it. Placing two pictures one of the cups and the rude person. This type of person can give business a bad name.

I really actually loved this Whataburger the atmosphere the people my biscuit breakfast sandwich was amazing it was hot the finger hash browns were delish coffee with perfect on point very hot fresh and just the service was just very kind with everybody they were laughing it up with each other you know I’m being so respectful and I really give this one this location more than five stars!!!

Im sure this place is good but dont have a large vehicle like a fire truck or ambulance because the drive thru is the only place open, tried after midnight.

Terrible service. Tortillas was falling apart an cheese was hanging in a full slice on one side an no picante or ketchup. Coke was fast an coffee was cold. Yup somewhere else for breakfast from now on. Thanks I want a reason to hate what a waste of time.

Excellent place. Very nice workers. One of my favorite places to go to out of a few whataburgers. PS every now and then I see a Karen here ♀️ please don’t. Go home with all that. Lots of regulars like myself like coming here and we have no issues like ever. Most of the employees are young and handle orders as best as they can. This location is honestly very poor in quality, timing, and mess up constantly on our orders. Several times our sandwiches look like this. Being that this establishment is pricey the least they can do is put a sandwich together properly! Ita like they forgot the other half of the lettuce! Just poor quality and constant let down. I’m done with this location!
