Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Seems drive through efficient. Not the best dine in experience. No one tended the register, the manager was rude and they got the order wrong despite it being an online order. Ate good but I was very disappointed with the service here.

Food was great as usual with Whataburger but lady who attended us seemed to be annoyed to have to take our order. I don’t know if she was tired or what but she seemed rude and kept on rolling her eyes while taking our order. Customer service needs work at this location!

Worst experience ever.Definately won’t be going to either kingsville locations again.I put an order in at 9:15 am was waiting in drive thru till 10:22 when I received order.Got home it was wrong.Called it in they remade the 2 missing items which one was right the other was semi correct that took another 20 minutes and they gave me coffee when I ordered vanilla ice coffee. ♂️2 hours of my time down the drain for breakfast if you have the time go ahead and go but I can promise both locations will have you waiting minimum of an hour for your order..

My brother placed an on line order, went to pick it up. The manager had him waiting until she was done with her register, as she was counting money. She finally came up to him. He asked about his order, she turns around walks to the back without one word to him. Not one clue on what was going on, as she didn’t communicate with him. We then saw her patting down some bags of what seemed like ice-cream. While my brother was standing there still waiting on order or response. He then had to ask her again she finally said she’d check on it. It was only a burger and fries. It took almost an hour of waiting and horrible manners.
She was night manager on February 29, 2026. Order placed 10:20om received burger at 11pm.
Please work on better customer care especially for a manager.

This was my favorite Whataburger my wife and I went on a busy day and they still gave our order out so quick the staff was super friendly and even helped us get free wings. This place had some cool history too. Thanks to the staff who made this day special

Probably the most cleanest, nicest, and best atmosphere Whataburger I’ve ever been to. Great place to sit down for a lunch if you’re passing by. I do think this is going to be an essential stop every time I am making a road trip through the area.
