Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This is one of the worst Whataburger locations we’ve been too. We’ve ordered from here numerous times out of convenience and it is almost always terrible. Last night we did an online order for 2 combos and a kids meal. Go to pick it up and the employee hands us a shake and order of fries. Nothing else. Tell him it’s not right & he makes an excuse about the orders not printing but they’ll make it (We got a receipt that was printed just fine). Then brings out the wrong order. Tell him and they try again but still not 100% correct. It was so disappointing. The burger barely had any lettuce and had small, mushy tomatoes but more mayo than the burger could hold. This location either needs new management or to shut down because it gives Whataburger a bad name.

Worst location I been to recently. I added lettuce, tomatoe, and raw onions on the chicken fajita taco and did not receive any of it ♀️smh AND I had to wait and pull ahead so they could being it to me. Not going back to this location if they cant follow through on a simple request especially after having to wait.

Went through the drive-through and ordered a patty melt and a spicy chicken sandwich without mayonnaise. The patty melt wasn’t toasted properly, so it was just bread, and the spicy chicken sandwich did, in fact, have mayonnaise. With that being said, they were accommodating when I went inside and they switched out the chicken sandwich, and mgnt was nice about it. My patty melt tasted okay, but I had to think of it as an untrusted sandwich

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I wanted to share my experience. The food was served nice and hot, which I really appreciated. However, the dining area itself felt a bit chilly during my visit. I completely understand that the staff may need it cooler for comfort. The employees were working very hard and did a fantastic job!

Location doesn’t get orders right. Placed an order at 6:45pm and waited over an hour before it was ready. Unfortunately I had to return the order not only was it incorrect but incomplete. Manager was supposed to redo the order and instead only correct 1 item and not the others. Waited outside for another 30 minutes. What a waste of time. Avoid this location

We did DoorDash delivery. When my husband bit into his triple meat Whataburger there was a strand of hair. Now an hour later his stomach is getting upset. Why was there hair in in the meat? Aren’t they suppose to wear hairnets even if they have facial hair? I sent this picture and extra pictures ( which those with his triple meat whataburger in the picture was taken with the door dash app camera) door dash was kind and gave us credit back. We never have this problem with whataburger at this location.

Had a small dine in order during what seemed like a not busy time, at least not busy enough for the order to come out 27 minutes later and incorrect. While not hot the food was warmer than I expected.
Manager Josh seemed to have his hands full but I appreciated his efforts to make things right between myself and I saw with another guest as well. Doing what it takes to win us back in the moment but definitely not the experience we wanted choosing to dine here.

I’m not sure what’s going on with this location but they have gotten slow. We ordered food last week and waited 30 mins in the drive thru before our food came out. After all that the order was wrong. Wanted to try this location again today and already the line was backed up and not moving. Waited 5mins and left. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this location at the moment. Hopefully they get better.

I’m usually a fan of Whataburger, but the hamburger meal I had last night was a real letdown. The burger was lukewarm, and the patty tasted like it had been sitting out for a while rather than cooked fresh. The veggies, which are normally crisp, were soggy, and the bun was already falling apart by the time I opened the wrapper.
To make things worse, the fries were barely warm and had lost all their crunch, and the drink tasted watered down. For the price and the reputation Whataburger has, I expected a much better experience. Overall, it felt rushed and low-effort—definitely not the quality I’ve come to expect.
I hope this was just an off night, but it was disappointing enough that I’m hesitant to go back anytime soon.
