Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I went in today with a difficult order today I was buying food for my team and everyone wanted to add or substitute something. I went through the drive-through and I had a young gentleman name Fedrick assist me and he was so patient and understanding to this difficult order. Yesterday, early shift always has a bad attitude, I was not greeted at the moment of ordering, cashier Cynthia had a bad attitude since I have to Apple Pay she want me parked and get down go to front pay for my food or get out car in driveway to pay myself to card device, cause she won’t get my phone. It was weird for me since I always go in the afternoon for my lunch, I don’t have any problems with afternoon shift at the moment paying. I asked her to call the manager and he was in bad mood look at me horrible. I didn’t even enjoy Emmy breakfast. The manner and attitude affect the customers. Cynthia gave me my drink and I was putting my drink in the cup holder. She was hurrying me up, and she left my food in window to me get myself. That was disrespectful since I’m a customer. I feel uncomfortable that moment. Since I was getting smiles and no problem to pay and the cashier gives my food in hands and let me fix my drink. Ugh lastly my food was cold. Never coming back in morning

I went here last night with my family. The guy at the drive thru was rude and he sounded unconcerned and lazy. The food was not good, it was made incorrectly and we were missing things from our order which was every bit of $40. The sweet and spicy burger had extremely too much mustard. The southern burger was dry. We were missing a burger and fries. Even though this location is busy I don’t recommend eating here. I suggest going to another location. Customer service is very important at a business, they are lacking strongly here. I would call to see if I can get my order replaced but doubt they would.

I ordered via the online app around 2:30am walked inside i asked one of the young reps with glasses i asked him what time is curbside he replied he did not know. So I then stated can u please confirm with you superior he replied “ oh she does not know neither shes only been here a few month employed here”. I found that response a bit shocking. So i received my food keep in mind on the bag it has the receipts with what i ordered. I arrived home i opened the bag & its a whole different order. What i dont understand is how can you not know your curbside hours & get the wrong order when its in black & white . I am completely upset due to the fact it of weather conditions, a long line & then one arrives home to a wrong order ? Very upsetting. If someone reach out to me address this matter at hand it would ve greatly appreciated.

Early Bird shift definitely has attitude problems. Doesn’t greet or smile, seems as though “it’s just a job” to them. This will definitely be the last time I come here. Always serving old fries, when I ask for fresh ones they have to ask for “permission”. If they wouldn’t eat old fries why is it okay for them to serve it to guest. I really hate to make complaints, but for this to be the only whataburger on loop 410 NW before&existing the highway, really is a bummer. I guess since it’s early morning the employees feel it’s not that big of deal.

I’ll give this a 5 Star rating but understand it is a burger joint. Don’t expect steak and lobster but if you’re looking for a great burger – this is it. The best burger? Perhaps not but, the best burger from a chain? Absolutely and by a long shot. East Coast, West Coast have their favorites but What A Burger out does them all.
