Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I can understand when the burger I order a very specific way is not done right. No big deal! A #1. Combo, no onions, no pickles, grilled onions and jalapeño, mustard, and cut in ½!!! I want very fresh French fries, and the freshest onion rings. Not greasy oil sponges onion rings. Please try to tell me that these are fresh!!!

Its always a wait to get ur order when u dine in. They prioritize the drive thru and take outs before they bring ur order to u. My last wait time was 35 min for a breakfast platter. By then the food was cold. There was only 1 table in the dining area beside me. Please avoid this spot unless u have ALOT of time to waste. And this is what it looked like

Usually they are on point but today was nothing compared today. First the lady never asked if I was using my app which I was so I can redeem my points. She took the order wrong by the way and cut me off and told me to move up. I could see as I moved up that she was already having an issue with the previous car. That car leaves and I move up just to sit 4-5mins before someone came to the window . Before I could roll down my window she wanted to using hand jesters for me to hurry up, argued with me about that I need to say something about the app before ordering never mind that she cut me off when I was ordering. Then like I mentioned before the order was incorrect. She proceeded to get more upset and muttered some words underneath her breath. When she returned with the correct food I looked at the receipt to see who the her name was it was under a man named Daniel. When I asked what her name was she slammed the window close. I must say if that’s the employees Whataburger is hiring then you’re going to lose a lot of busy. As a owner myself I would never have one of my employees treat customers like that. Don’t suck just do better!!!

Food on the floor. Not clean at all. No tea,no napkins, no straws, manager unapologetic, two employees out of the whole team were the only ones who were trying. One employee was throwing food on the counter. The customer in front of me waited 35 minutes for a basic order and they still got the order wrong! I’m taking my business elsewhere than Whataburger.

The manager here is amazing. I had an issue with my drink, and she took care of it immediately, no arguing, just great customer service. It was my fault too, she had no reason to fix my mistake.
The food was amazing. No need to add condiments to the burger, it is good as is.
Atmosphere in downtown San Antonio is awesome. Clean and upbeat. Would recommend if you like burgers. Don’t hate me, but I would say the fries are as good if not better than McDonald’s and I love McDonald’s fries!

Waited 30 minutes for our food. The guy bringing orders out kept saying they were making the order. We finally went in and it had been ready the whole time. Then when we checked the order they made it completely wrong. 45 minutes to get a salad and sandwich! Unbelievable!

came for a quick bite before work and this was the containter of old, hard & what i can only imagine are twice-fried fries they gave me. i ordered through the drive thru and didnt notice how little and how burnt they gave me utill it was too late.

They CONSISTENTLY use old food products,
For context, I used to work at whataburger for 2 years and I understand when food is made to order (the way it’s supposed to be done mostly especially for meat) but NOPE,
Premade old meat that sat on the grill for 5-20 minutes
Crusty stale chicken strips
Unable to follow SIMPLE order modifications like substitutions.
The fires are rarely salted enough,
And same thing for breakfast items, you can tell they leave eggs sitting around
Bad portions as well
Sorry but this is the WORST whataburger EVER

Drive thru ordered a spicy ranch wrap, unsweet tea and a cookie. Waited 10 mins for the chicken, drove home to enjoy my meal only for the wrap to come out so drenched in ranch it was inedible. No cookie… Dinner ruined
