Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’m not quite sure the name of the manager for this location. Every time I dine in he goes above and beyond for every single customer. He greets every single one of them and you feel almost like you’re family, He even has some personal relationship relationships with some of the customers. He runs a very polished team, Everyone of them seemed to be pretty happy working there. But the manager specifically is what made me write this review. Every time I go in, my food is warm and delicious! Highly recommend coming here

Ordered food at 8:12pm, not too busy with customers as we went right to the counter and ordered. After 15 minutes I checked on the order, the manager said it is almost done after speaking with someone in the back. At 25 minutes, still no food, was told again they are working on it. At 30 minutes I heard the cooks in the back say they are remaking the order now, they lost it. I asked for a refund.

Mimi and I took the grandkids to Celebrate 75 years of Whataburger. We had a fabulous time the kids received balloons and cupcakes. Great kozies. The hamburger was delicious. Customer Service was wonderful very helpful and friendly.

Went and ordered food at 11:30pm. I was just passing through coming back from the rodeo.When I got home and started eating my food I placed my burger down, picked it back up and there was a cockroach that crawled out of my food onto the wrapper. I took pictures and immediately called the manager. Samantha was the manager who seemed very annoyed that this happened. She also said she checks every order leaving the store, which is not possible and practically blamed it on us. She said there was no way this could have happened and NEVER even apologized. She said we could drive all the way back over there, which is about 30 minutes and she would remake it, Which clearly wasn’t practical. She was incredibly annoyed and short with us, and all we were asking, was for her to look into it to make sure they didn’t have an infestation. We weren’t asking for another burger, which clearly wasn’t practical. Decided to make this a continuous review until Whataburger addresses it.

I have used this Whataburger for 15 years. I know for a fact that this is the poorest performing Whataburger in all of corporate and nothing they do fixes it. Drive thru averages 25-40 minutes and the order is wrong above 50% of the time. It is still so busy due to the lack of options on this side of town and we all just accept the pain it causes every time you go. Esp on Sunday when a Restaraunt next door is closed. If you have time…go somewhere else.

Back a two weeks later. No change. Lost the order took my card inside to recreate and charge. 4 cars behind me left before I got food. Employee acted tlike it was my fault.

12/23- 10 cars in the drive thru. Out of sausage patties and all taquitos at 9:45 am. No change.

1/17 – Sitting in the drive through (outside lane) and the people in the car in front of us had clearly been sitting there for a while and ended up getting out of the car and walking up to the window to retrieve their food. The man said 6 cars had drove past them after getting their food and nobody was coming with their food. Nobody came to our car to take payment or bring our food until we told them that we were waiting.

2/1: Curbside hoping it would be better nope. Showed up 5 mins after the recommended time and still waited 15 minutes more. There is no good customer service option at this location

2/21: grabbing a late snack. Had a better experience thanks to Deverette…who hustled like nothing I have ever see at this location. Maybe things are turning…time will tell.

Made a quick pit stop this morning because I wanted to try the new frosted berry drink , and it’s very good! I got the #11 chicken sandwich meal and that was also good. I went through the drive through so I was surprised that my food was still pretty warm when I got home and the bun was definitely not mushy at all. There was a bit of a wait in the drive thru , but that’s probably to be expected. Overall good customer service and good food!!

Always great breakfast! Love the BOB sausage. This location does the hash browns just right! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Not soggy or half done. The staff is always cheerful and nice.

Sat in the drive-thru for almost 20 minutes, if course after I paid and asked about the warrior time before paying and being told it would only be a couple of minutes. After waiting all that time, and watching cats behind me get their food and leave, I got food that was barely warm, my grilled chicken sandwich looked like it had been stepped on after they put disgusting looking lettuce and tomato on it, it looked withered and soggy. My daughter and I had almost finished our drinks, which were watered down by the time we got our less than tasty food.

This is the 2nd time this location has served me cold French Fries. They always take super long to prepare your order. It could be no one in line and they will still take a ridiculous amount of time.

Food was great! Service was efficient but not very friendly. Maybe don’t mop the entire dining room at once? I’m disabled, on crutches, and getting out of the store safely was challenging.
