It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. I’ll start with I love Whataburger when it’s done right but that seems to be rarer each time. When this one opened I really wanted it to be “my whataburger” bc it was new and close to my neighborhood, sadly it will not be. I ordered 2 whatameals and a kids cheeseburger meal curbside. Took it home and halfway through our meal my toddler says “Dad there’s ants in my burger”. I thought he was just seeing the pepper or seasonings but we were wrong. There on the cheese, was indeed ants. I took a picture and immediately drove back to this restaurant to show the manager. This seemed to me to be an evil prank bc how could you not see them when you’re cooking or putting the burger together. They did refund my money and offered to make my food again but at that point I was done with this store.

No sodas. Offered a shake as an option. But uncharged and would not adjust price. Spoke to a manager as well.
I’m getting tired of whataburger. And this location is not convincing me otherwise. Too many options out there not to be customer service focused and correct the accuracy time management, and obviously from the other reviews, the nonworking soda machine

This location is a joke!! This is the 3rd time no fountain drinks! How do you not have fountain drinks? Like someone obviously just doesn’t want to refill the syrups. They say all we have is shakes and of course they aren’t going to comp the shakes to go with our meals. No that’s ridiculous! I’ve never complained about anything before but it’s absurd! Not only that like 80% of the time they always forget the jalapeños that we order on the side and we are charged for them. It’s not my job to check the bag it’s the workers to double check. Today I spent 42 dollars on 3 meals cause we had to get shakes with our order! Like no what the hell

So this location is not even a year old and it’s already terrible like a lot of other locations. If you want to spend your entire lunch break waiting for food, then definitely eat here. It took me 30 minutes just to get a wrong order. I don’t know if it’s a staffing issue, or a horrible management issue but this location is not set up to succeed. The only nice thing I can say is the staff is very kind and respectful. But as a restaurant, it sucks. It’s really sad to see how a lot of Whataburger locations have the same issue, but upper management doesn’t seem to want to help fix the problem. And like I said, this location isn’t even a year old. Don’t eat at this location if you don’t feel like waiting at least 30 minutes for fast food

All around terrible experience. The worst Whataburger I’ve been to. We went through the drive thru for dinner. The window attendant handed me my soda and it was dripping with soda around the entire cup. I had to give it back to him and ask that he wipe the cup down. Our fries and onion rings were inedible, old, soggy and actually bitter/sour due to old grease. They also forgot to bag our pie and cinnamon role.

I never post negative reviews because I like to give the benefit of the doubt but this was just ridiculous, and disgusting.

I drove up to the drive thru 10:35AM, it was pretty busy so I waited patiently, ordered probably around 10:39AM, as you can see on the receipt paid for it 10:54AM, so I’m already 19 minutes in, which is not unheard of.
I sit at the window, there are three bags of food just sitting there. I feel bad for the people behind me because their food must’ve been ice cold. But I digress,
I don’t get the food until 11:08AM, at this point the window felt abandoned, that is when I am 38 minutes in since i drove into the parking lot….
I politely requested a refund, as I feel this is an unacceptable time frame for a drive thru, and the $14 meal should be free, at least that’s how it was when I was a GM at Whataburger about 4 years ago, I feel like that was a reasonable request.
The lady at the window rolled her eyes when I requested the refund.
That’s when I said nevermind, and drove off. And now I am filling out online reviews due to the last straw of the eye rolling.
Completely unacceptable. I am still requesting a refund, we’ll see how it goes.

Came in with my wife and daughter to eat one other person in the line in front of us the cashier girl rudely tells us to use the kiosk and proceeds to be rude bringing us our food forgot our spicy ketchup and my daughters ranch and looks at my receipt when I asked for the ranch and goes to tell a manager that “we had it” and tells me it was in the bag witch it wasn’t I wouldn’t say something is missing if it wasn’t just terrible experience you could tell she did not care for her job or care that we had a child with us cause afterwards she’s had a full line and not once told anyone to use the kiosk if your going to eat here I would come for the night shift better people and better atmosphere

We ordered 8 combo meals and spent over $100. When we got home, the chicken sandwich combo was missing. We only received the drink.

We went back to the store immediately and explained the issue. We were told the sandwich would be remade. After waiting over 30 minutes, a staff member came back and said the camera showed them giving us the sandwich and that they would not replace it.

Why would anyone who just spent over $100 try to get a free sandwich? The response made no sense and was extremely frustrating. The staff member was not helpful at all, showed no concern, and offered no resolution.

This was horrible customer service, and because of how this was handled, I will never return to this Whataburger or any Whataburger again.
