It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

After months of going to pick up food, I have yet to receive fresh french fries from this location. I live one street up, three minutes away and EVERY SINGLE TIME I GET HOLLOW TWICE FRIED FRIES!! The last three times I have asked for FRESH fries and all they do is throw the old ones back into the fryer!!! To the manager, manage your employees and teach them what the word
“fresh” means.

It never fails that something is wrong with my order. It’s not hard to clean my cup sides off before carrying it 40 ft to me at curbside, check the condiments are inside the bag since it’s on the receipt, not ask me if I have my drinks already since same person is running curbside at a time. Why on earth would you ask me to check in and then handle the (6) cars in drive thru while overshooting my curbside time by 15 mins?? This is closest Whataburger to me so I will continue to visit, just poor customer service. Like, why is it so hard to check my order for me?? And then get upset about having to run back and forth for me when I find yet another missing item?

Boy oh boy, how should I start about Rowdy.
From the moment I walked in, Rowdy was on it. Friendly, upbeat, and genuinely happy to help — the kind of service that makes your whole day better. He greeted me with a smile that didn’t feel forced, took my order with patience, and even made sure everything came out just right. And when I say just right, I mean it — hot, fresh, fast, and with attention to every little detail.
Rowdy didn’t just go through the motions; he made me feel like I mattered as a customer. He checked in while I was eating, made great conversation without being overbearing, and handled a rush of customers with total professionalism. I’ve eaten at plenty of fast food places, even other Whataburgers, but Rowdy’s service was by far the best I’ve ever received — anywhere.
If every restaurant had a Rowdy, the world would be a better (and tastier) place. Give that man a raise, a promotion, and a gold star — he’s earned all three

Food was good, service was fast, I have no complaints. A cashier Dylan L is super helpful and his hospitality levels are amazing, he was checking up on us and making sure we have everything we got and if we needed anything like sauces or napkins. All in all, great Whataburger!

I come into this whataburger often and anytime I do I often see this young man Rowdy always with his head down and working very hard to get keep the front clean and get the orders out quickly. Last time I was there he said he had recognized me and was glad to see me here again and was very polite and efficient with his job. Need more people like this young gentleman.

I get food here almost every week. The burger buns are getting bad. The buns are so flat it looks as if someone sits on them. I also have to order my burger dry now because if I don’t, you put so much sauce on it that it turns out half soggy and gross. The fries are hit and miss. Sometimes undercooked and great when cooked completely. Service is fairly decent. Although can be frustrating because I don’t always get napkins or salt and I have to ask again almost every time. Some employees need to work on their smiles. They look miserable.

Slow, but very, very busy.
Food was Whataburger good.
Staff was polite despite the drive-thru being overwhelmed.
I ate inside and had a bit of a wait for my food, but the drive-thru was VERY busy.
Great location between San Antonio and Marble Falls.

Regular here, came in yesterday and the restaurant was packed. My favorite cashier Dyl always recognizes me and welcomes me in. He really keeps everything so clean despite how busy it can get. I ordered two burgers and a drink, both came out quickly and were delicious. Thank you Dyl for your outstanding customer service and I will continue to keep coming back.
