Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Not impressed this morning when I went to grab breakfast for my husband. Got his food and ordered a cinnamon roll for me, get my food and the cinnamon roll is in the box tilted on the side in the bag and the opening for the box is pointed down, meaning that any frosting that was on the heated up cinnamon roll is now split all over the other food in the bag. Would it have been that hard to put it in the bag where it would leak frosting on everything else, or for that matter, put it in a different bag. Not impressed this morning, not at all. Thanks a lot whataburger. Usually get better from yall than that. needless to say, my cinnamon roll is hard and dry and just kind of nasty, this was my treat for the weekend and can’t even enjoy it.

Its whataburger! Usually id give a 5 star rating. But this morning I stop in to grab a quick breakfast through the drive thru. They got my order wrong, which is fine, it happens, no big deal…well, not this morning, so, I correct my order at the windows, after a quick 2 minutes im given my order. Luckily I double checked my order before pulling out because they tried to hand me off the incorrect order that they initially mistakenly took. So, (and very rudely i might add) am i asked to pull up to the yellow line. About 8 minutes later another employee brings a bag of food to my car and walks back into the store. Again, I check my order, guess what…again im given the exact same incorrect order, not the order that now 25 minutes later I ordered. So now I’ve had to not only wait an extra amount of time for my food but had to get out of the car and go inside of of the restaurant to get the order corrected. Finally j get into the car, intent on eating my burger “which is finally correct by the way” and as I bite into the fries they are cold and stale, the same fries they initially served me as when I first pulled up and received the order. That will be the last time I use Rock Prairie Whataburger gor a long time if ever again. I think the thing that gets me the most is that there wasnt even one apology offered during this 45 minute process of getting and finally obtaining breakfast this morning.

I experienced:
Poor management
Poor listening skills
Unprofessional skill set
No customer courtesy or awareness
Poor time management
As a manager you shouldn’t play the blame game out loudly towards the staff, instead just kindly more privately if you will show, and correct them on any mistake they may occur.
As a manager you should pay more close attention to and show more courtesy towards your customers. Especially when the order has been made wrong several times. Have better time management on getting orders out a few customers complained about the wait time for their food, and even I had a long wait.
I wanted 2 potato tequitos no egg, no cheese
I received 2 tequitos 1 with just eggs, 1 with just cheese due to the cashier staff mistakenly putting the order in wrong but was very nice and kind.
I repeated what I ordered more than 4 times as so did the staff taking orders and the order still was wrong with having something on it I did not even order (bacon) instead of the manager analyzing the order, the manager instantly went against the customer, then adding that I told her I wanted something (cheese) that I told her for sure I didn’t want the 1st time it was made wrong, due to me being a vegetarian. After the wait, leaving then having to bring back another wrong order I just requested my money back for that 1 tequito. Manager kindly told me since I paid with card my refund would be back on what I paid with, there was no apology whatsoever, nothing to satisfy the customer, or anything of that nature. With that being said it’s safe to say they just lost a customer and I would not recommend visiting this location.
Below is a picture of the tequito the manager went against me saying it didn’t have bacon on it as I told her it was pieces of bacon but either way the order was still wrong with cheese on it.

A lot of mix reviews from others. Lunch rush hour and the team is kipping up. A little patience goes a long way.

We got the chicken cranberry salad and asked for grilled chicken, but they did not add it. Drove 10 minutes back, and they said sorry, but it doesn’t come with chicken, so if you want chicken, it’s another 3$. You’re telling me I paid 9 dollars for a few pieces of lettuce and a sliced apple???

Did curbside order way ahead and they forgot items. Had to get off to get my order after waiting 15 mins. Then had to go back in to grab what they didn’t put in my bag. I understand mistakes happened but not when it’s 3 items your supposed to bring out. Please check your bags before you leave. Next time I’ll just stuck with wellborn wateraburger instead. At least they dont forget my items and quick service.

Usually the food is pretty fresh but this last time my fries were soggy, floppy, and room temperature like they had been sitting out of the hot hold for a long time though my order was promptly assembled from the time I ordered to the time I got through the window (there was only 1 car in front of me at the time). Kind of baffling, but reflecting on it, I would be cautious for food safety purposes. I hope it was a one off deal, but letting others know in case it isn’t and there may be a procedure problem thay needs to be fixed. Again, I’ve not usually had this kind of experience here. And I’m hoping it was a fluke, because I usually come here for better quality food.

I just ordered a Buffalo chicken meal. The fries were cold and gross, and the sandwich looked like it was a week old. There was no Buffalo sauce, and it was drenched in what looked like expired ranch. Normally I like this place, but after seeing this sandwich I’ve decided never to let anyone cook for me ever again. I only have about thirty years left on this planet and this sandwich has literally change how I will eat for the rest of my life. Shame on you Whataburger. And shame on the employees for taking $15/hr to ruin people’s lives.
I returned for a refund. It took about fifteen minutes but the manager refunded my entire ticket price. This is great customer service but I feel like better training would avoid this situation altogether. Don’t sell a buffalo chicken sandwich if you’re not going to toss them in buffalo sauce.
