Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Absolutely the BEST Whataburger on the planet! I can’t describe how phenomenal the night staff made us feel at home. The food was fast and full restaurant quality. Super clean, and everyone on the clock was doing something… not goofing off, playing on their phones. Whoever the district manager is over this establishment owes these folks his gratitude! STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

The double burger through the garden is me go-to when I’m out-and-about and need food. There’s just something nostalgic about Whataburger and they seem to go a good job with their employees as the service and food quality is very consistent and good.

We had a takeout order on 8/26 and picked it up around 10p. Everyone was amazing! I felt like a customer, not a nuisance with a late night order (chicken strips too)! They greeted my husband when he went in to pick it up, and when he went to grab our order, they double checked it to make sure we had our extra gravy in it! Everyone was polite, friendly, and our order was ready on time! The restaurant was clean as usual. As someone who works in customer service on a daily basis, I know it’s lacking nowadays. But, not with that crew who worked on Tuesday night!! Great job everyone!

I took my kids here for the first time recently and they’re STILL talking about it a week later. My kid has even started drawing the Whataburger logo for fun. I’m not sure if getting obsessive about Whataburger is a good thing but we will come back in moderation. I did enjoy the Whataburger as I always do. My kids for the chicken tenders and Whataburger Jr with fries. They ate everything! This is a great sign because they can be so picky sometimes. We also took advantage of a free Whataburger through the app sign up, and a free Whataburger Jr through a mailed-in coupon. Our total was around $15 because of the tenders, extra fries, and a drinks. Really not a bad deal to make us all happy. Thank you!

Stopped in for a light snack before shopping at Lowe’s. Waited 20 minutes for 2 kids meals and the line was actually short. We went inside to ask for a refund and why it was taking so long and were told it was shift change. They definitely need a better process for shift change. Super disappointed but reconfirms why we usually go to chic fil a . Unfortunately it was Sunday and they were closed.
