Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went to this Whataburger after church for lunch, and from the get go, it was horrible.. the lady taking order, offered me something at first speak, which I didn’t know what I wanted yet, so asked for few more moments. 15 seconds later, I tell her my order, and she says, I offered you that, which I didn’t know what she said, when she said it, but I told her, I wasn’t ready yet to order, I was still looking. Just very rude. But I didn’t let it change my attitude. Pull up to window to pay, she told me total was 16. something, and it was actually 26 something. I paid, said have a good day, and pulled up to get my food. Lady at this window asked me, what I had to drink, and I said root beer. There wasn’t no one behind me or at drive thru. She has one drink in front of her, and hands to me.. it’s root beer. Then tells me pull up to trash can, so I did . Still no one behind me, she then comes and tells me to pull up another foot or two. I’m in front of trash can already, and now I’m getting the full picture here, I’m being treated wrong by the whole crew! Targeted for unknown reason to me. I don’t know none of these women! And I’m not the one to take abuse from no one! So I told her, why do I have to pull up so far when there isn’t anyone behind me, and I still haven’t received my food? She said cause someone will be coming eventually.. then I finally get my food after 10 mins go by.. now there a line of people behind me. Lady is very rude again and I leave. Get home to see I ordered jalapeno burger to having 1 single jalapeno on my burger, one patty instead of 2, and both burgers had hard as board bread. I took it back, got full refund. I have never had this bad of service and disrespectful service ever here, or anywhere.. I called corporate and made complaint, and did online survey..I won’t be doing business with this place again until some of these terrible acting folks are gone! Manager was very nice and sincere. She needs to clean house though and get some better respectful people.

I spent a total of $68.39 I only received 1 burger and a large order of fries the 1st order I ordered was 2 number 1s 1 for me and my daughter the store canceled the order and didn’t issue a refund at all then I took another chance and I was delivered a order with the ticket saying Patricia S that consists of a burger with tomatoes pickles and mustard we’re allergic to mustard my name is Patricia Marcel I’ll never use this app ever again or DoorDash either worst experience I’ll ever had in my life and I used to work in fast food and never have served such trash never received no drink either totally have lost my business forever!!!!

I have never been to a place that is so . Well trashy. This was my second time there and both times dinning in. Wait both time for 25 minutes for my food and both time had to ask if it was ready. And both times is was sitting on the counter in the back. Unprofessional.. so I drive the extra few minutes to bridge city.

Placed an online order just for the app to put 11 pm. I came to pick it up at 11 am. I asked and they said they were working on it… How though?? I cancelled the order. Im not coming back to Whataburger again. I can’t believe praise this place.

Went to whataburger in groves after work at 3:22 AM and found a piece of plastic saran wrap on my burger. Called and spoke with the manager who was rude and unhelpful. They asked “can you bring it up here to show me?” When I explained I didn’t want to get back out he said “Well I know where the burgers are kept and they aren’t around plastic.” He didn’t apologize or try to remedy the situation. We got 2 burger meals for over $33 and to find plastic on one is gross and unacceptable. Wish I would’ve asked for the managers name; it was a man.

Terrible service I was waiting for 10 minutes for anyone to take my order while your staff was standing around. I said excuse me multiple times and tried to get any staffs attention and they literally just ignored me. Then when I finally got fed up and walked out the workers were laughing it up while 2 customers who were gonna spend over $40 just walked out and took our $ elsewhere. What is sad is I absolutely love whataburger and I was really craving it. But instead I was met with the worst service I’ve ever had.

2 out of 3 orders are either gonna be missing something guaranteed… Ordered a bacon cheese burger and add a patty because if u order the double meat burger and add cheese u ain’t getting any cheese now the patty didn’t show up .. This place is sorry complaining does nothing for u .. Look at this dry bun and meat

I cant lie, I had a big order and i also asked for a 3pc tender by itself and they made it to a combo. Another thing that ticked me tf off was that I asked for 2 out of 3 of my spicy sandwiches to be PLAIN and they didnt do it. Sighs im still gonna remove them and but hella annoying

I never leave a review but this one had to be done. Had 9 employees, I was the only one there ,even placed the order online pickup was at 9:41pm and received my order at 9:55pm because they were “waiting” on fries. Literally, saw them dropping the fries once I told them i was there for pickup. Manager was there horseplaying with the others. So much for an online order if I still.had to wait
