Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Foods great but they need to fix the drive through. They shouldn’t have the second line on the outside. This morning we waited 30 minutes for our food while the inner line was passing through perfectly fine waiting the normal amount of time. Person in front of us actually gave up and just left. They try doing the chick fil a type pay system on the outside lane and do not do it correctly at all.

They have single handedly taken the fast out of fast food. When I arrived, that was just one car in line and me. And it still took over 20 minutes to get my order! This has become my least favorite burger spot.

Normally, this location does an excellent job. This time, i can only say it mediocre. Everything i asked to be well done was cold, and the bacon was not well done. Also, i asked to have mayo n mustard on the bacon cheese burger. The receipt was correct, but order had several issues. No salsa was with the breakfadt tacos like i asked. However, on a plus side, the employees were pleasant. But the manager was not so much. But like i said, normally, they have been perfect with my orders. 🙁

I ordered through the mobile app, and it said that my order would be ready at 8:06. We arrived about that time. We received our order over an hour later!! We were just passing through and wanted a quick bite. This is ridiculous! While we were waiting, I checked their reviews and wow. Bad reviews about wait time! What is going to be done about this? This location is giving Whataburger a bad name. It just shows that you don’t care about your customers. I’m glad that I don’t live in this area. This has been one of the worst mobile order experience I have ever had!

I made a mistake trying this location. Not only did they leave both lanes open when they were only taking orders on one, they forced all of us to circle around after waiting over 10 minutes without a response, the employee came out with a cone and just laughed and chatted on his phone while telling us off. Waiting over an hour for “fast food” blows my mind but the disrespect was the final straw. I will never go to this mistake of a location again.

The drive through is straight up terrible. Waited at least 45 minutes on a weekday night just to get to the front. The second lane is lit up and have nothing signifying that it’s closed. It’d be quicker to sit down and eat somewhere then to use the drive through here. Worst service I’ve ever had at any food place.

Ordered taquitos for the family…idk why they made them so small but they were only big enough for my 3yr old. I feel as a customer we deserve better quality than this. It was literally half of the size that it would be at any other location. look at it compared to the size of their picante sauce. Terrible quality.

Yummy burgers and fries. Husband and I had the regular burger with cheese, caramelized onions with jalapenos and dr pepper. The jalapenos were spicy. Food was good.
