Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

6:30, prime dinner time and only 1 person working. the lady working was slow and not paying attention. i had to tell her 3 times and then she still didn’t get it right. wait was insanely long. Staff were not polite and if any corporate people from whataburger walked in, i’m confident they would have fired most of the staff. we had 3 incidences of not receiving the correct foo and also when asking for an item like the sauce for the paddy melt as there was none or barely any on the sandwich, the lady never came
back. worst whataburger i’ve been to.

I went through the drive-thru at this Whataburger recently. The line was long, but that was fine — I expected to wait a bit. When I got my food, the fries were a little cold, but I didn’t make a big deal of it.

However, when I went to take a bite of my burger, I realized there was no meat on it at all — just the toppings and bun. I drove back through the line since the inside was busy and explained nicely what happened. The employee told me to pull up to the second window, asked for the burger back, and then took it to the back.

A minute later, he handed it back — the same burger I had already bitten into, with a patty just thrown in. I was honestly shocked. I expected a new burger to be made, not the same one with a bite taken out of it.

I’ve never been to this location before, and this was a surprising and disappointing experience. I hope management addresses this because I usually love Whataburger and have never had something like this happen before.

I frequently visit this location because it is conveniently close to my home, but the service has been consistently disappointing. My order is often incorrect; for example, I recently requested no pickles and added grilled onions, only to find the opposite when I got home. I also regularly experience issues with cheese substitutions being ignored. Furthermore, the curbside service is unreliable. On several occasions, I’ve waited over 10 minutes before having to go inside myself, only to be handed food that is already cold and soggy. It’s frustrating that this happens so consistently.

I am absolutely fed up with this location. It is by far the worst in Pearland. I’ve had multiple issues with my orders being wrong, but what happened on 11/7/2025 was completely unacceptable. I ordered chocolate milk, and when I got home, I noticed it was expired since 7/31/2025 — over three months past the date!

I’ve submitted complaints online multiple times, yet no one ever contacts me. When I tried to call and report the issue, the woman who answered the phone was just as careless as the rest of the staff. I told her repeatedly that I wanted to file a complaint, and she kept asking me if I wanted to file a complaint — as if she wasn’t listening at all!

This is beyond frustrating. Someone needs to take this seriously. I’m tired of being ignored and brushed off. Selling expired products and having staff who don’t care is completely unacceptable. I expect a manager or someone higher up to reach out to me immediately to address this issue.

This got to be the worse restaurant ever. The workers don’t even come up to the front to attend to customers and have no sense of urgency. I placed an online order just to wait 1 hour for it and everything is cold. Honestly corporate should shut this restaurant down.

We have been waiting in the drive through for over 50 minutes. Everyone in front of us in the Drive-Thru has had to go in and get their food currently we are doing the same thing and foods just sitting on the counter in bags and no one’s handing it to customers. this is ridiculous. This is the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. It’s a school night and we just wanted to get a quick bite on our way home. We have paid $50 to sit here for now over an hour. This is ridiculous this will definitely be the last time I ever come to this Whataburger I have been coming here for years but the service just seems to be getting worse.

This location is getting better but night shift still needs work. I was on drive through for over 10 mins and the burger patties were squished flat and dry. Also my whole jalapenos were crushed and soggy. I got a feeling they were not fresh.
