Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

After ordering online I arrived to the location about 3 minutes later, gave the cashier my name for the online order and waited over 15 minutes for the order, although I requested it be ready asap (4-6 minutes) once I received my order this is what I found, very withered lettuce, the tomato was deteriorating and the chicken patty well as you can see was not fresh, no crispiness to it what so ever. The rootbeer was flat, on the positive side the onion rings were made fresh and the napkins and ketchup were in the bag! You guys have to do better! Your customers come for the quality of the food and the service. Not this!

Came by yesterday and waited an hour for my order after waiting in line for ANOTHER hour just to find six of these nauseating fries in my meal. It was a busy day for them but that is not excuse to treat your customers in the same way that makes you lose them. Mind you I also found a piece of hair inside the chicken strips. I will not be buying from this Whataburger again! Extremely displeased with the food quality overall..

I went in for dine in today around 1 pm , I was greeted by a nice young lady at the counter and my order was taken right away and repeated to me which I really appreciated, I visit this location often and I did notice the lobby was really busy which delayed my order by a good 10 mins than it normally took , the workers were working hard to maintain the lobby which was refreshing to see, due to the amount of people inside. I could see some people get frustrated with the wait time but I personally was pleased with all the employees that helped me today , for sure my go to Whataburger , I can see they are trying to step up.

I had just left I was the one in the uniform. I asked for a breakfast on the bun with sausage well done that does not look like as well done and I got two of them and I feel like it’s not done if it’s not well done crispy

This Whataburger had always been exceptional until my last visit. I am so disappointed and mad about what I received! The fries are so old and cold and overcooked somehow and not salted. My patty melt bun wasn’t even toasted nor was the cheese even melted. I asked for NO onions and add EXTRA pickles, they did take off the onion but I got 2 pickles. I asked for a coke with light ice and basically got 6 sips of coke with ice filled to the brim. Whoever was working this shift needs some retraining or needs to start caring about their job a little bit because this was NOT it. My meal was gross, cold, and most if it was tossed. I’m very unhappy I paid to eat cold, over cooked or undercooked food and my order was essentially disregarded completely.

First time here in Texas!!
Place was clean, staff was friendly. The onion rings were not very good. So I wouldn’t recommend them. Burgers were good, fries were nice and golden. Better than McDonald’s!

Slow. The drive thru was wrapped around the parking lot so we went inside thinking it would be faster. We were greeted (I don’t even think you can call it that) by a cashier who clearly doesn’t want to be working.
Chemical smell that is so strong. Makes sense because there is a worker going around cleaning the same tables for the third and fourth time… clearly avoiding the long line of customers.
Management is non existent. Needs some serious improvement.
Save time and money and go elsewhere.

My first and last time here I only went here because it was close to my job received my order only to find multiple pieces of hair in my food. Spoke to the manager over the phone. She was very dismissive, but did agree to give me a refund. I honestly did not feel like she cared.
