Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whataburger is just a southern must have. Breakfast biscuits are always fire… The jalapeno biscuits are limited time but a must when they are available. The burgers slap, normally opt for the 2 or 3 meat. Also ask the the onions and jalapenos grilled!

placed an order online and it said 10 minutes till ready, i knew they would be busy due to lunch rush so i waited the 10 minutes before leaving my house. showed up and still waited close to another 30 minutes. this place needs a serious performance evaluation from someone high up. bare minimum was done by back employees. only reason orders were getting out was the kind lady at the register barking orders to the back. please send secret shoppers here. sending management wont do anything but make them act proper while they are there.

I was in the second line, on the phone with my pregnant girlfriend and she couldn’t decide what she wanted with her patty melt…. The people who took the deliveries out were very patient on the sauces she wanted. She finished it on record time so it must have been good. Not to mention the main line was packed at midnight so the fact I got mine so fast was a game changer.

Updated: Man I hate that I love whataburger. Maybe it’s just the location but damn. Husband picked up whataburger for dinner tonight just for me to open the gravy lid and it is so set in its container, you can’t shake one drop out. Much less dip anything into it. It looks like it has been in n there all day. No way they just filled that container. It looks freaking disgusting. Never again will I give this place my business.

I made an online order for spicy chicken for ASAP 3-6 mins. Get to restaurant tell them I’m here for my order. They tell me they are still waiting for the chicken to be done 8 minutes later they tell me they actually don’t have spicy chicken sandwich guy tells me with a the biggest smile like if he’s laughing about it. Went there for dinner around 8pm the other night through the drive through. order my food the guy who took my order was really rude. When I got home and opened the bag 3 roaches came out with the food . I will never get food from there again. That place is a joke.

Food is a hit and miss at this location. For the most part, cheese is never melted on the cheeseburgers. They need to be warmer so that the cheese melts. The lines here are always long. I hate when the person in drive thru stands so far away from the menu board that it’s impossible to see the menu. I’m not a fan of the small handheld menus. I always say, im paying with cash so that I can go to the actual menu to order through the speaker. I wish this location was better. It’s just not the case. I stop here only when there isn’t another one I can go to. If the lines were shorter and of the burgers were warmer, it wouldn’t be so bad.
