Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

It’s a decent whataburger, nothing that makes it the best in the world and nothing thag makes it the worst. Staff friendliness, food quality and wait time is acceptable during the day. During the night ( past midnight), staff tends to be grumpy and food quality declines. Wait times get longer.

Been sitting in drive thru for over an hour and a half and the line isn’t moving. This is crazy!!! What are they doing in there??? Everyone in this long line is getting impatient. I don’t even want to eat anymore at this point, I just want to get out of the trap I’m in sitting in this line.

Pulled up to the drive thru around 12:20am. I waited in the line furthest from the restaurant since it was the shortest. Waiting over 15 minutes for the car in front of me, I saw the other lines order get taken first and move forward. Cars that pulled up after mine were taken care of in less than a couple of minutes and I was left waiting there on the other drive thru for 40 minutes. Another car pulled up after me on the opposite line and I told myself that if they would take their order first I’d leave, which was exactly what happened. I’ve been here a couple of times and the food has been good, but this time, it was the service and the lack of management that ruined it for me. Might not be coming back….

This place has REALLY gone downhill, used to be somewhere I looked forward to going to. Now it’s TRASH. From the attitude of the employees to the way they prepare the food. My son’s allergic to onions and they messed his order up WITH ONIONS TWICE. Not well managed nor is it well staffed. Do better whataburger cause y’all trash at this location.

The older lady that works the front counter, Paige I think, is rude as all get out. I come here often and she’s always rude. I don’t get how you can keep a job in customer service being that rude. I started going at night to avoid her but the night crew moves like molasses. For one burger and a drink, took over 30 mins and I ordered ahead of time too. Smh

Worse ever drive tru didn’t even know the menu and was over pricing took 3 of them to fix my order then to get home and NO FREAKING CHEESE when I repeated myself 4 times. Not sure what’s up with whataburger fries now cus even on southmore and redbluff location fries undercooked ….I’m gonna look for another late night drive tru this was terrible

Private equity has ruined everything in my life even my whataburger. The burger was cold missing a patty, cheese cold. I got the same burger back after the clerk dropped my receipt on the ground and picked it up with his hand. Im going to a restaurant at this point, avoid this ripoff.
