Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This Whataburger is single-handedly the 13th reason I might stop going to Whataburger, and I’m a native-born Texan, so that is not something I say lightly. Few things make me happier than Whataburger and the Alamo.
But this location just cannot get it together. They genuinely need to hire someone from any Chick-fil-A in America to come run a seminar.
I waited at the speaker so long I started wondering if I accidentally pulled up to a historical landmark where we just reflect quietly on burgers of the past.
Meanwhile the person at the window helped the entire line of cars next to me while I sat there like a ghost haunting the drive-thru.
Both lanes were open. No one took my order.
And this isn’t a one-time issue either. I’ve gotten cold, rock-hard fries, lukewarm burgers, the wrong order entirely, and once waited 45 minutes for one chicken wrap and a Dr Pepper.
I love Whataburger. I really do.
But this one is testing my loyalty to the state of Texas.

Linda..Aaron..Itohan Osin…you three people are the very reason that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this location (Sienna hwy 6 Missouri City). The atmosphere is friendly and the employees are all soooo nice. I’ve not had 1 bad experience here. The food is always fresh and delicious..and surprisingly..the place is always clean..which very much matters in the place I choose to eat. Keep up the great work guys….YALL ROCK!!

I am a regular customer at this location. It is very hit or miss. The best thing is the custodian keeps it super clean. The food is decent. The service? Shockingly substandard. If you love to stand around for long periods of time before the workers come out from the back to take your order, this is the place to be. They lnow you’re out there waiting at the counter but they continue to engage in long conversations with fellow coworkers. Im not certain why this is a standard thing for this spot. Other than that the music they play is great i notived they pick and choose when it comes to giving excellent service to certain customers.

My family and I went here yesterday and I must say that we got waited on at the drive thru by the best associate (Nevaeh). She didn’t rush us to order and was such a pleasant voice to hear on the other side of the intercom. She deserves a raise for such exceptional service.

Glad to see OP (Oiythip) is now working at Whataburger’s #1153 located at 5970 Hwy 6, Missouri City. I know OP from when she worked at Cane’s. At Cane’s OP would often take my order, cook the food and then bring my food to me making her a one woman show! Even when the restaurant is very busy OP is always so nice and provides excellent customer service. She often comes to my table to check if I need anything and is always ready to help the customers. In the past she has even given me Christmas presents which made me feel appreciated and special. I admire her for the attention she gives the customers and I will look forward to seeing her every time I go to this Whataburger’s location. Thank you OP.

Then the manager Elizabeth had employees related messages to me when it should’ve been her & gone tell me she not gone remake my food , she would only remake the fries then I asked for a refund she said no .
