Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This Whataburger on Hwy 6 never disappoints! The food is always hot, fresh, and made exactly how I order it. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seems to care about great customer service. The drive-thru moves efficiently, even during busy times, and the inside is clean and comfortable. Whether it’s a late-night stop or a quick meal during the day, they consistently deliver quality and that classic Whataburger experience. Definitely one of the best locations around!

I love this location. Linda and Aaron are phenomenal workers. Itohin Osin is by far the best person for her management position. I just can’t say enough about how polite and helpful she is. I normally don’t post reviews because I understand how challenging it can be to run a business and manage customer expectations. However, my experience at this Whataburger was simply unacceptable.

I visited around 12:16 AM, and while I completely understand that late-night hours can mean limited staffing, the level of service I received was disappointing. The gentleman who took my payment was polite and professional — no issues there.

When I pulled up to the next window, the young lady handed me drinks with no cup holder and appeared frustrated when I asked for one. After that, I was asked to pull forward to wait for my order. I ended up waiting 25–30 minutes for four meals.

When my food was finally brought out, I checked quickly and assumed everything was fine. Once I got home, I discovered missing items — the fries from my #1 combo were not included, and the entire BK Breakfast Sandwich meal was missing altogether.

I called back and spoke with someone named Sarah, who asked if I could come back right then — at nearly 1 AM. After waiting that long already, that was an unreasonable request.

It’s disappointing to have this kind of experience, especially when Whataburger is known for great food and hospitality. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback and uses it to ensure that late-night customers receive the same quality of service as daytime guests.

I genuinely like whataburger even if the wait time is long. It’s very understandable if the lines are long and drive throu is long too….
This one was not, the inside was close and the drive(at the time I got there was one truck) was clear.
I spoke to one guy, he act like he couldn’t hear me at first. I am on a motorcycle, so I moved closer and spoke very loudly. “SWEET AND SPICY BACON BURGER! WITH MEDIUM FRIES!” Just to get hit with, “could you hold a few minutes. So I did wait for like 15 minutes, yes 15!
If the team is reading this, motorcycle guy, red helmet with black horns. That’s me.

The waiting time is always very long. I ordered a chocolate shake, but it was extremely difficult to drink because the straw was too small. I had to apply a lot of pressure just to take a sip, which actually hurt my cheeks and tongue. It took more than half an hour before I could even start drinking. They really need to switch to bigger, better straws.

I don’t normally post negative reviews, but oh my goodness something has to be done about this whataburger. It literally takes FOREVER to get your order. I thought it was just a one time thing, but this has been a consistent issue here. It has happened to me over and over again, and even when I order DoorDash, I have drivers messaging me that it’s taking them a long time to get the order out. I recently drove through, took forever, realized that my order was incorrect once I finally drove off. So, I called and explained my order was incorrect, I had already waited forever in the drive through line, and I had three kids in the car. I was curious if they could bring out the correct food, and they said I had to come in. So I brought all three kids in and I waited forever AGAIN just to explain that my order was incorrect and needed it corrected. I don’t even know what to say anymore. This location is a huge disappointment.

I go here all the time, but it’s time something gets fixed at this restaurant. 40 minutes to get my order and only after I asked for it numerous times. My order was lost after placing it. Tons of people waiting. Please work on the logistics. The food is good but need to be more organized to get the food out.
