Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Came in around 2:30 am. Not busy inside nor outside. Not only are the trash overflowing but the tables are not cleaned. Took forever to get our meal as if they were transporting everything from the warehouse still. 40+ minutes to be told “it’s coming right up”. Worst Whataburger I’ve visited. Besides taking forever to make the food they’re more focused on talking about not getting their behind ate in weeks. They were for sure cooking the fries one by one with how much time they took.
Edit: we ended up getting a refund and so did another customer. On the way out we saw the same person still waiting in their car who was there before us. That enough says a lot about this location.

I’ve been coming to this location for years, and it wasn’t until recently that we started having consistently positive experiences, both dining in and through the drive-thru.

Most recently, my wife and I dined inside and had such a wonderful experience with Persyphanie. She was extremely pleasant, helpful, and personable. It truly stood out. We also learned there had been a change in management, which definitely explains the improvements we’ve noticed.

This was our first time having a manager interact with us on that level, genuinely checking in and making sure we were taken care of. The shift in staff attitude and overall service has been noticeable, and I truly believe that positive change is a direct reflection of the new leadership.

Rehana greeted me warmly at the speaker and said, “Thank you for choosing Whataburger, would you like to try a breakfast burger?” Her tone was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The worst drive thru experience ever. Do not go to this whataburger. We waited for over 30 mins for our food. The fries were soggy and under cooked. They took payment and made us drive up and waited we never received our drinks, and condiments we specifically asked for spicy ketchup, No napkins. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to wait over 30 mins for fast food and not getting what you ordered.

I am very disappointed with my repeated experiences at this location during the night shift. The line is consistently extremely long, customer service is poor, and during my most recent visit my drink was flat. This has happened multiple times, not just once. When I visit in the mornings or early evenings, the service is great, which makes it clear the issue lies with the night shift. This location needs better management and accountability overnight.

Rehanna took our order through the drive thru and she was amazing! She was so kind and energetic, and my husband and I were really blown away by her level of customer service. It was such a great experience, very different from previous visits and from what you typically see at fast food restaurants.

There was an extremely long wait. No one ever came out to inform me of what was going on. There 2 cars ahead of me who still hadn’t received their purchase. I usually have no issue. Today was different.

Why is this restaurant always so slow? I used to deliver DoorDash from this location and it took forever for the workers to get me my orders (90% of the time). I eventually stopped picking up from this location by declining the orders.

Now, I’ve tracked the last 3 times I’ve been in their drive thru and each time it’s been a crazy long each time. I’ve been sitting here in this drive thru for the last 10 minutes. It was just a few minutes ago I decided to start writing this review. I’ll be leaving once I submit this. By the way, if you are wondering who’s small chocolate, small vanilla and large chocolate shakes weren’t claimed – that was me leaving them due to the excessive wait. Night shift.
