Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We order online a $75.00 meal for a family of 5 just for the order to have missing items when we checked at home. I went back to the restaurant and talked to the manger and he said he could not help me, I should have NOT ordered online and was going to charged me again add missing items on meals that are now cold. I had my receipt and the meals to show proof but he did not care and told me to leave. My wife wrote corporate about the issue. I will not be coming back again. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDER BECAUSE MANAGEMENT WILL NOT HELP YOU

This locations workers on the evening shifts during the week are useless. My cashier was high and lost. He took my order and then walked away before I could even pay. Then I had to chase him down 5 min later to ask him if I could pay. I told him Togo and he brought it out as dine in. I told him it’s supposed to be Togo and he just went and got me a bag to put all my stuff in. While I’m loading all my stuff in a bag there countless people walking in from the drive through saying they got the wrong orders. I wouldn’t comeback here.

Drive through seemed to clearly understand out order, but 1 item (onion rings) were missing, 1 burger shouldn’t have had cheese and, 1 burger was missing 1/3 of the meat patty. I was hosted by a friend and she tossed the receipt otherwise, I would have taken it to a manager on her behalf. I love Whataburger and understand mistakes happen but this was very disappointing – 3 errors on 1 order is unacceptable. Please have your runners double check every order and please watch your food quality and accuracy. Don’t serve a burger missing chucks out of the patty. Getting home and discovering these errors is a huge bummer especially when it’s not worth the gas to make the round trip to go back.

What a great experience. I passed this Whataburger on my way shopping and swung through the drive through on my way home. Having never had Whataburger I really enjoyed the suggestions from the young man working the window. I drove home and dug into a great afternoon meal.
The service I received was friendly, informative, and professional.
The friendly service will definitely bring me back to this location.

After waiting a solid twenty minutes in line with a single other car, I checked my bag after I received my food. Checked to make sure the double gravy and apple pie I had ordered was there. No apple pie. I had to return back to the drive through. When I got home I realized I forgot to check and make sure that my chicken tender meal… get this… came with chicken tenders. It in fact did not. After calling to make sure we’d be able to receive said chicken tenders with the receipt we were told we could, they even asked for the name to let the team know we would be coming for our food. However, when it came down to getting the chicken tenders staff informed us that “ all we could have is two.” You mean for the three piece chicken tender meal that I paid full price and patiently waited for???? Beyond upset, not the first bad experience at this location but definitely the last. Do better

I came in with a group of around 17 and these guys could not have handled it better. Mary took our order and was incredibly patient despite it being very chaotic. David helped us get the food and all of the extra things we needed. Thank y’all for helping us make the day run smoothly!

My family and I where there last night to purchase some food to begin the person taking my order did not know what they were doing I had to repeat myself four times the drinks and sauces she never asked if we wanted any ketchup pulled up to pay the Hispanic chick who was working there around 7:00 p.m. 02/27/2026 was rude didn’t get the drinks right got our food was missing gravy for one of the kids meals even though I repeated that four times at the speaker had to get off my vehicle ask for it in person at the door where they come out at she just asked what did I want I told her that I didn’t get the gravy that I asked for and before I could even finish talking she just grabbed the bag and close the door and I said and can I also get some ketchup but the door was already closed by that time luckily some other lady who was there in a blue shirt open the door and asked if there was anything else that I needed and gave me some ketchup and then I got my order and got back in my vehicle I think that particular staff member should probably get some more training on how to treat customers and know that if they are having a bad day it’s not the customer’s fault and or dislike their job maybe they should quit and look for another one

Ugh, I’m usually not someone who posts my opinions online, but I feel like this deserves to be talked about. The cashier, William, appeared to be high and had white stuff around his mouth. I’m not going to assume anything, but it was concerning.

He also got my entire order wrong. I asked for a burger with no onions, but instead I got a saturn burger.

Stopped in for a quick snack, my wife and I were conversing, I go to the restroom, and when I return my wife informed me that the staff behind the counter were listening in to our not so loud conversation and asking if I was calling her names to her face. Let’s be clear, you’re not our therapist, you are there to take our order, and that’s it. I never called her any names, but that’s beside the point. Don’t listen in to conversations that you’re not a part of, or concern you in any way.

Seriously frustrated right now. Just had a terrible time .
I ordered a Hot Apple Pie, but the old guy working the window messed up and tried to give it to someone else! When I pointed it out, he didn’t even believe me and argued that it wasn’t mine. I had to insist and show him my receipt just to get what I paid for! Thank goodness I still had the ticket, or I would have had to get out of my car and argue the whole mistake.
I’m a loyal customer, but that level of poor service and being doubted over a simple side item is infuriating
