Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered through the mobile app today and there was a little confusion with my order, but I just want to shout out the team working during this time. Everyone stayed professional, worked through it quickly, and handled everything really well.
I’m not sure of the manager’s name, but he was on it and clearly keeping things moving. You could tell the team was working hard and supporting each other even with the hiccup.
Thank you for the cookie for the wait — that was a really kind touch and much appreciated. I’ll definitely be back to this location.

Tried the sausage breakfast bun and it was fresh hot and full of flavor. The staff was friendly cheerful and helpful which made the experience even better. The place felt clean calm and welcoming. Really enjoyed my visit and would return again.

After 7pm service goes downhill. It’s not packed 2 cars in drive thru. Mobile order placed ready by 7:36 according to the app. Here it is 8:10 still no food ready. Crazy slow after 7pm

We rarely do the fast food but today evening we did, ordered Hot n Spicy chicken sandwich, Honey BBQ chicken sandwich, 2X Ranch chicken sandwich with some fries and onion rings and some drinks, everything was just okay but could be better but not the best, last time I tried Whatawings, they were like the frozen irregular size meatballs then came to know why they named it what-a-wing! Something is better than nothing!!

Went last night to this location and ordered a double Patty Melt combo with fries and soda. The dine-in closes exactly at 12 midnight but the Drive Thru is open 24/7. The restaurant was super clean from the inside and the wait time of ordering thur the app wasn’t that long. The employees were hardworking and friendly. This is a perfect location to bring the kids and family to enjoy a delicious meal anytime of the day. Will be returning here more often as the food was done fresh and tasty.

This location need attention I was making sure I told the man on speaker I need the real lemonade drink with my combo instead the soda when I approach to window to pay he try to give me the soda lemonade which I told him I need the real lemonade… he was acting with disrespectfully at my order like acting he mad about that go find other job if you don’t like you job !!I I said sorry nothing to respond from him then he charge me extra $2.80 above $11.57 on my whole order why !!! Also the fries where old and cold short half the bag and dry I don’t recommend this location at all you know what I well never eat at whataburger locations at all they don’t care for quality any more sadly this was my favorite for years also the cashier need to cut his nails I threw the food away

Came on a Saturday at 3 am and they took 40 minutes to give out my food. Ridiculous! Never going back to this location. No one should. If the owner doesn’t care about the customers, just give your money to other franchisees who actually put effort in giving great customer service. Very disappointed with this Whataburger.

Chimney Rock Whataburger is great! I frequent there because the grilled chicken Cobb salad is perfect. The salads are fresh and would cost at least 25 bucks at a non fast food restaurant. More importantly, they have dedicated staff who seem to enjoy providing great customer service. Also, I’ve never been to any restaurant or business that has virtually every ethnicity working together in such close quarters. The Chimney Rock Whataburger is the perfect model of inclusivity for all locations, not to mention other businesses.

WORST WHATABURGER EVER.
I’ve never had an experience at a Whataburger like I did at this one.
It was dirty, the staff seemed to have zero training, and service was just awful.
It took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge that they had customers waiting to order and there were boxes everywhere.
I ordered a chicken sandwich and my boyfriend ordered breakfast taquitos. Took them a whole 20 MINUTES to get the food to us AND got the order wrong ♀️
People in the drive thru were getting out of their vehicles and coming inside to see what the hold up was. It was chaotic for absolutely no reason.
This location needs better trained staff but, until then, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
