Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

January 23rd, 7:26 PM. I returned undercooked onion rings and watched an employee take the food from my car and dump it back into the fryer. That is disgusting, unsafe, and a clear health violation.

Then they burned the replacement batch to a crisp like it was a joke. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This staff needs to be disciplined and retrained on basic food safety.

I wanted to leave a review about this location on wallisville they were excellent today I went in to pick up an order and yes they were busy taking orders but as soon as they were done they checked on the order they were working actively very friendly atmosphere. And I’ve been to a few Whataburger’s to pick up orders and they don’t compare to this one they did an excellent job. Shout out the Manager Bre and also the cashier Channel and their was another girl but I didn’t catch her name . Keep up the great work!

This location, which is nearest to me and that’s the only reason I go to this one, just can’t seem to get it right! I don’t understand why I have the request, if y’all will be moving me up to the cone after still waiting behind these 5 other cars and still continuing to wait to please have my fries hot. And sure enough they come and bring my food to me and fries are not hot. Cold! Not even warm, but cold. I can’t even get back in line bc there’s about 10 cars in line now. I pull off and can’t call bc I’m on an important call and get home only to see this soggy half thrown together burger. Call the establishment, speak with Brittany and no remorse about anything except a “well bring it back and we will make it again”! But why do I have to wait 30 minutes and then have to try to drive back up there and wait another 30 minutes. Why not get it right the first time! And what is this soggy slop!

Ms Judy is the just the sweetest. She’s always happy and upbeat. Ms Maria and Ms Lulu make the best taquitos out there. A great staff and a great store. The food is awesome but the staff keep me coming back

On February 25th at approximately 9:06 PM, I visited Whataburger and had an extremely disappointing experience in the drive-thru.

After placing my order, I was instructed to move to Lane B, even after explaining that I had previously experienced issues when being moved from my original lane. The employee, who identified herself as Jasmine, stated that I needed to move because others were waiting. I complied.

Once in Lane B, I remained stuck while 11 vehicles behind me in Lane A were served before me. The employee taking orders stopped at my car but did not proceed with additional orders. I waited approximately 20 minutes at that point, unable to exit the drive-thru line. In total, I waited nearly an hour — something I have never experienced at any fast-food restaurant.

During this time, the staff appeared to move with little urgency. My newborn son woke up very upset while we were trapped in line, and I had no option but to unsecure him from his car seat to comfort him since we could not move forward or exit the lane.

While waiting for my order, I observed staff members repeatedly going in and out of the building smiling and laughing, which felt inappropriate given the long delays and visible confusion among the team. The overall environment appeared disorganized and poorly managed.

When I confirmed Jasmine’s name with the order runner, she asked whether Jasmine had been rude and requested details. She then turned to her coworker and stated, “See, she is being rude,” which further demonstrated a lack of professionalism.

This was the worst service I have ever received. One hour for fast food. I am requesting follow-up regarding this matter and an explanation of how this situation will be addressed. I strongly encourage management to review operations at this location to ensure better organization, urgency, and professionalism moving forward.

I would appreciate a response regarding the outcome of this complaint.

My son chose Whataburger as a reward after a school ceremony. Tatiana and rest of staff was friendly and courteous. Food was delivered to our table promptly and fresh. Perfect dinner for a great night. Thank you!

I always come to whataburger this time was different Ms. Chantel greeted me at the door I had a great experience thanks to her. She was professional, efficient, and friendly, ensuring my order was accurate and timely. Her positive attitude and attention to service standards made the visit smooth and welcoming. Chantel clearly represents Whataburger’s commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction., she gave me excellent customer service && was so sweet , she’s very hard working always helping the customers . I will continue to visit if she’s there!!

Food came out after thirty minutes despite it being an online order. I thought “hey, maybe they’re backed up today”. But then I saw people that came after me get their orders first. By the time I got my food, it was cold. On top of that- it looked like they didn’t even try to put it in the bag properly. All the food wasn’t in its packaging.

I miss the way whataburger used to be. This was disappointing. Not worth that big price.
